Lori pov

Corohn just texted me he on his way here in gone give him a try but if shyt pop off I'm leaving

My mom was shopping or whatever so I was alone until I heard a car horn outside and a text from corohn saying he was outside I grabbed my phone and purse and walked out to see corohn sitting in his car looking at his phone when he saw me he got out

"Hey ma what's good"he said hugging me

"Hey"I said hugging him back

He opened my door for me I got in as he closed it running to his side closing the door behind him and pulling off

"We bout to go shopping if that's cool with you" he said

"That's cool but stop the car I need to go get my wallet" I said remembering I left it

"Nah you good I got you ma" he said

"No it's cool you don't have to corohn I got it" I said smiling

"Just relax ma chill I got this you ain't got to worry bout nothing today it's yo day to chill you look stresses relax aight?" He said

"Aight" I said sitting back

15minutes later we pulled up the mall

We got out and he grabbed my hand when we entered I got dirty glares from chicks I guess the was jealous I smiled and got closer to corohn it felt good to have haters tho no lie

Corohn dragged me in every store buying me things if I looked at it he bought it he even bought us a couple of matching jays and outfits like nigga I don't wanna match with you lol I'm lying but it was cute tho he trying so hard to get me

We stayed in the mall for a couple of hours now at the food court

"Thank you for everything but you really didn't have to I can pay you back " I said

"Lori don't worry ma you deserve it don't pay me back you good but I want you to feel comfortable talking to me like you can tell me anything cause I will be there if a nigga. Fvcking with you hit me up ima be there in 30 seconds if you just need some company hit me up ima be there" he said

I wanted to cry because nobody other than my brothers cared for me like this and I just me him I pulled him into a hug it felt good until I heard

"Lori I knew yo fast azz was messing with niggah I don't know what you see in that ugly trifling bitch you must be blind huh " my mama asked corohn

"Who are you" corohn asked

"Nah nigga the question is who are you all hugged up on my daughter like that" she said

"You her mama? And you talk about her like that what kinda messes up shyt is that" he said I felt tears coming down my cheeks I got up and ran

I ran to corohn car and cried how could she embarrass me like that

5minutes later corohn came with all the bags he put them in the trunk and we got in

"You okay ma" he asked

"Nope" I said back looking out the window

"I'm sorry I know you go through that everyday huh" he asked

"Yupp my life is miserable" I told him

"Wanna talk about it" he asked

I looked at him and thought then I poured all my feelings out from being beat raped talked about slaved and everything

"Damn ma sorry to here that but I'm here for you and I ain't leaving but you are you shouldn't stay in that house" he said

"One she ain't gone let me two where I'm gone go" I asked

"You can stay with me and you a grown woman who can do what she want" he said

"Cameron told me you fvck and duck girls and treat em like hoes" I said

By then we pulled up to his house he got all the bags and brought them into the house and flopped on his king size bed

"Shyt I'm tired" he said

"Boy please you the one running all around the mall like you crazy "I said

"Come lay with me" he said

I took my shoes and shorts off so I had just a shirt and panties don't judge me I had to get comfortable I layed next to him and he wrapped his stong hands around me and I fell right asleep
