Forgive and Forget - Dayl Cronin

Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning, I forgot where I was until I saw that ut was Cian's arm around me not Brad. All the memories came back and I kept back the tears. I slipped from under Cian's arm and into the bathroom.
I put the shower on quietly though and jumped in. I got out dried. I got into my white jeans, black and red checked shirt which is cropped and tied. I then put my timberlands on. I put little make up on and kept my hair in plaits. I gathered my stuff and put it in Cian's room.
"I promised my mum, we would go see her today" Cian said.
I jumped.
"Awww, I miss her!!" I said
"Yeah she misses you too" He said
I sat on his bed next to him.
"Awwwww Mamma M" I said
He shook his head.
"Come on then, it's at least an hours drive from here!" I said
"How do you know that" He said
"Because when me and Dayl were a thing, we used to get a train to here to avoid you knowing" I laughed
"Did you actually?"
"Yeah"
We both laughed
"I miss you and Dayl"Cian said
"He told me last night that he never stopped loving me..." I whispered
"Awwwwww"
"Get ready now!!" I said
I sat on my phone, I went on snapchat seeing that Cian had shouted out "athomewithht" .
"Good one" I said
He laughed.
I saw I had a text from Brad.
I love you xxxx

I ignored him, how could he lie. I went onto twitter. Cian had also tweeted.

"Alright, Im getting ready now, go get some breakfast" Cian said
"Alright, ok" I said
He laughed at me as I stood and tripped over.
"For god sake" I said
"Such a dickhead" Cian said
I poked my tongue out at him.
I walked into the kitchen, Brendan and Ryan were sat together.
"Hey" Ryan said
"Are you ok?" Brendan said
"A bit better, I've been sent by Cian to get breakfast" I said grabbing an apple from the bowl. "Is this ok?"
"Yeah" Ryan said
"You really don't have to ask" Brendan said laughing.
I took a seat on the table with them.
"Brad texted me this morning" I said
"Oh yeah what did he say?" Brendan said
"He doesn't know that I know, and he told me that he loved me" I said
"What a prick." Ryan said
"Yeah I know" I said
"What did you say?" Brendan asked
"I love you too... just kidding, I ignored him" I said
"I was gonna say omg" Ryan said
I started to eat my apple. Dean and Josh then joined us.
"Josh, you're not the only clumsy one anymore" Cian said walking into the kitchen.
"Why?" Josh said
"This one fell over air earlier" He said pointing at me and I just laughed
"YES FINALLY!!" He said
"Josh, Ive done worse mate, Its terrible" I said
"Like what?" He said
"I met Alex Turner and fell into him"
"Oh for god sake"
Everyone laughed. Dayl walked in. Daymn I forgot how good he looked in the morning.
"What's so funny?" He said
"When I fell into Alex Turner..." I said
He laughed. "I remember that"
I smiled at him.
When we were together we bumped into them on one of our secret days out.
"Right, we best head off" Cian said
"Where you off?" Dayl said
"TO SEE MAMMA M!" I said.
"She's more excited to go and see my mum." Cian said
"Well have fun" Dayl said
"See you later" I said hugging them all.
Dayl's hugs always seemed to last longer.
Cian grabbed the car keys.
"We'll stop at starbucks and get drinks for the journey" He said as we got into the car.
"Ok" I said
He turned the radio on, The night we met was on!!
I smiled at him.
"I am so proud of you" I said
He smiled back at me.

"Mamma M!" I said as I threw my arms around her.
"Brooke!!" She said
"I missed you"
"I missed you too"
She invited us in and gave us cups of tea.
"So how's things?" She said
"Ok-" I said
"Just ok?"
"Not even ok" I smiled weakly.
"What's wrong?"
"Brad."
"What?"
I looked at Cian.
"Brad cheated on her" Cian said
"What???" She said
"Let me at him, I'll kill the kid!! WHEN?" She cried
"Two days ago..." I said "He doesn't know I know"
"How do you know?"
"I saw him."
"Cheating little skank"
"I know..."
Cian grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
"I missed you over here, I missed on a Saturday when you slept over witn the boys and when they'd piss you off you would come down stairs and have a cuppa with me" She said
"I miss it too" I said
"Did you actually?" He said
"Yeah" I laughed
"I also miss you and Dayl, christ that was an adorable couple" She said
"You'll never guess what he said to her yesterday mum" Cian said
"What did he say?" She said
"That he never stopped loving me" I smiled
"Aww, please make Brayl a thing again" She said
I laughed.
"It was lovely seeing you mum, but we've got to go" Cian said
"I'll see you very soon" I said
"How?" She said
"Its a secret... shhh dont tell anyone but Im thinking of moving back" I smiled
"Oh My!!" She said
I hugged her goodbye and so did Cian.
We then drove back.
"I missed Mamma M" I said
"Really? Couldnt tell" He laughed
"Ha.Ha.Ha" I said sarcastically
We both laughed.

We walked into the apartment with McDonalds for everyone.
"Hey guys" Brendan said
"Heyyy" I said
"We brought food!!" Cian said
The 5 of them hurrayed.
We all sat at the table togther.
"So how was Mamma M" Dayl said
"Amazing, Aww I love her" I said
Cian laughed.
"We were thinking bowling tonight?" Dean said
"Yesss" Cian said
"Im so bad at bowling" I said
"You can't be worse than Josh..." Ryan said
"I once threw it backwards... I didn't even think it was possible" I said
"Oh for god sake" Brendan said
"I have also slipped over and fell half way down the alley thing" I said
"Oh christ" Dean said
"And have thrown it into someone elses alley and put a hole in the floor." I laughed.
"Ok, we get it, you're are worse than Josh" Dayl laughed
"Hey!! SOMEONES WORSE THAN ME!! I need to tweet about this!!" Josh said
Everyone laughed.

I laughed at him.

Bowling? Great. I can't bowl for shite. I'm wearing black highwaisted shorts with a white top and a checked shirt tied around my waist. On my feet were my timberlands/bowling shoes.
"Im so shit, guys honestly" I said
"Come on, thrown the ball" Dayl said.
I threw the ball and hit 1 pin over.
"That's actually good for you" Cian said
"Thank you for acknowledging my good scoring" I said
"Quick go again" He said
I panicked and threw the ball straight into the next alley.
They all pissed themselves at me.
I sighed before telling them "I told tou I was rubbish"
They continued laughing at me.
I huffed and sat next to Dayl.
Josh went to take his shot.
"You did good" Dayl said
"Cheers Dayl, at least someone appreciates how good I am" I smiled
He laughed.
I got out my phone and saw that Brad had texted me.
'What's your twitter "I love Cian..."????'

'Brad chill, it was him having a laugh, we're best friends and we have been for 21 years xx'

Dayl took my phone.
"Why send him kisses?" He said
"I-I don't know?" I said knowing he was right.
"He doesn't deserve you Brooke, someone who is nice does"
I looked at the ground.
"What?" Dayl said
"Im sorry Dayl, I should have never left"
"What?" He said
"Imagine now if I hadn't have left, I would probably still be with you, I would have never had my heart broken and..." I started to ramble.
He kissed me.
I kissed him back.
I missed him.
We finally broke apart.
"One way to shut me up" I said
"I have waited 4 years for you. I have honestly never stopped loving you" He said
We completely forgot everyone else was there.
We turned to see the 5 boys staring at us.
"I-uh-um" I said
The 5 of them laughed at us.

Bowling went great, I lost.
Currently me and Dayl are sat talking about everything.
"Dayl, I missed you, I still love you but I can't be in a relationship just yet?" I said trying not to cry.
"Why not?" He said
"Because Im still technically with Brad and I have just been cheated on, I dont trust myself at the moment"
"I trust you"
"I know Dayl" I said "Please give me a little time"
"How much time? Ive waited 4 years"
"After tour when I move back here" I said
"YOURE MOVING BACK?!" He said
"Yes" I smiled
He threw his arms around me.
"I love you" He said
"I love you too" I said
We hugged for a very long time.
