/Phil/
"Phil" I heard in my ear jolting me to a wake. Suddenly very green eyes were staring back at mine, a smile on his face
"Wake up sleepy, we're here" he said making me sit up. Looking out the window I noticed the bus had stopped. I'd been worried about getting away from dan so much I forgot to plan past this part, as my parents weren't in town. I sighed then stood, the bus doors openning and people starting to get off. My legs felt a bit wobbly, I'd been sitting for hours. Once I made it off the bus, I got in line to pick my luggage up, Logan behind me in line. After grabbing it, I decided my best option was to sit on one of the benches in the station. I had my phone, money and clothes, I was sure I could think of something to do.
Maybe a few nights at a hotel
Though I knew those were expensive and I'd probably run out of money after a few nights.
"Phil?" I heard the voice again, snapping me out of my thoughts and worries. I looked up to see Logan standing, suitcase next to him.
"Oh, hey" I said giving a small wave then sighing. He bit his lip looking at me almost like he was thinking of what to do next, then sat next to me.
"So where are you off to?" He asked, his hand on the back of his neck. I considered lying, just telling him the same thing I told dan, but I couldn't, for some reason I trusted him.
"I'm not sure" I said honestly, looking around a bit.
"I don't really have a place to go" i said looking down at my luggage and wondered if I should just go home.
"Stay with me" he said giving a grin. I looked up, a bit surprised at the offer
"Really? Are you sure?" I asked feeling grateful the guy even offered. He smiled wider
"Of course, I was taking the bus back from visiting my brothers, my apartments not to far from here I was gonna take a cab. I have a guest bedroom from when my roommate moved out, you can stay in there" he said standing once again, looking out the window. I smiled then stood
"I mean.. okay, that's really nice of you" I said and he shrugged
"Well I like you, I'd like to keep you around. Plus I like to help people" he said and I blushed softly, knowing he probably meant 'like' in a differently way but still being effected.
"I see the cab, we gotta go" he said and my eyes widened a bit, grabbing my suitcases as we started running out of the building. I hadn't even noticed it'd starting raining until I felt it as we ran over to the bright yellow cab and piled in there, luggage with us. We couldn't help but laugh after running, almost just glad we'd made it before the cab driver left.
The ride there was silent, but not so awkward as you'd think. The sound of rain filled our ears, as the car pulled to a stop in front of an apartment complex. I glanced at Logan seeing him pay the cab driver then opened the car door, getting out and immediately having rain pour all over me. I heard the door close then felt a hand grab mine, watching the cab drive away as I was pulled to the apartment building. Going up to the door of one of the apartment, Logan grabbed his keys and shoved one in, fiddling with it until the door opened. I felt a bit relieved once I was inside the apartment, no longer getting soaked
"You can change in the bathroom down the hall" he said and I smiled
"Thanks" I said then went into the bathroom, locking it behind me.
Finally, I had a moment alone. I sighed then held my head a bit, it'd been a long day. I turned my phone on and saw I had messages and a few missed calls from Dan. Ignoring them, I pulled my wet clothes off and changed into some dry ones from my suitcase.
I left the bathroom, walking into the living room with a thought in mind
"So am I gonna be sleeping in the couch?" I asked, seeing he'd changed when I'd gone into the bathroom.
"No that's silly, how could I ask my guest to sleep on the couch. I have a guest bedroom just waiting to be used." He said with a smile
"You can stay here as long as you like" those words made me feel a bit uneasy as I was missing home already
"Well.. hopefully that won't be to long. I have to get back home eventually. All my camera stuff is back home" I said forgetting he didn't know about Youtube. His eyebrows bent a bit in confusion
"Cameras? What are you some photographer?" He asked as he grabbed the wet clothes and put them in and hamper
"Well, no not exactly. I'm a youtuber, I do videos and I upload them with my .. best friend" I said and he looked over at. I half expected him to recognize me as 'Amazingphil' but he just nodded
"That's so cool, does that make good money?" He asked leaving me a bit speechless. Had he really not heard of me? I guess 30 year old men weren't exactly our common fans.
"Yeah, not crazy money but it definitely pays for a good apartment and nice things" I finally replied with a smile. It turned out it was actually refreshing meeting someone who didn't know you as the youtuber online, and just another guy.
"So your friend, you make videos with, I'm assuming it's the one you ran away from?" He asked, tilting his head a bit. I sighed softly, nodded my head and following him to his kitchen
"Yeah.. Dan is his name. I've known him ever since he was 18. We met online and we've always been closer then anything." I said smiling a bit thinking of dan then looking down
"But here lately everything's been a bit off" I said not really wanting to talk about more and just hoping he'd get that.
Logan nodded then opened his fridge, his eyes skimming over all the food
"I'm gonna make lunch.. or dinner at this point" he said and I smiled a bit
"Thanks Logan. I'm gonna get settled in the room" I said then walked off. I grabbed my suitcase then pulled it in the guest room, sitting down on the bed with a sigh. I grabbed my phone and decided to call dan.
After a few rings he answered.
"Phil? Where are you?" He asked, his voice sounding a bit croaky
"Hey Dan, I'm fine. My parents were out of town so I stayed with someone I met"
"Your staying with someone you just met?" His voice sounded offended and worried
"Well.. yeah. His names Logan we met on the bus" I said looking down
"Oh. I see." He said stiffly, as if he were mad at me.
"Why are you getting mad? You told me to leave in the first place" I said feeling frustrated.
"Whatever Phil. Maybe you should just stay there" he spat coldly, which hurt a bit.
"You don't mean that" I said trying not to get upset. I heard him sigh over the phone
"Please come home soon" he mumbled then the call ended. I shook my head softly then put my phone down, I was glad Dan didn't hate me but I didn't want to go home, not yet anyways. I lied down on the bed, feeling quite tired. I was about to fall asleep but I smelt food and new Logan had finished making lunch.
Or I guess dinner.// So yeah, thanks to anyone reading my story, hope it's good so far. I think I'm gonna do Dans point of view next //
