Chapter 1. Love Shared through the notes on a Piano - This is for you AusllyShipper!
The notes poured from the piano as my fingers sped along the keys, my heart pumping with the time of the music, my eyes switching from Austin's eyes closly keeping an eye on me, and the keys I keep punching for the music to blast from the piano and melt into the eerie feel of the room. As the song comes to an end, and the notes slowly die, my head swivels to Austin for his approval. His mouth is open in a sort of shocked way, and I bite my lip.
"Ally." He manages to say, and this annoys me in the slightest way.
"Yes. That is my name." I say flatly. He nods, his open mouth slowy curving into a gentle smile. My heart starts to beat faster, and my body raises. His eyes are lighting up slowly.
"That was great!" He finally says after a few seconds of silence. My mouth jumps up into a bright smile and my arms wrap around his shoulders, laughing with the shock.
"Really?!" He nods as his arms slowly wrap around my waist to pull me into a tighter grip.
"Really Ally." He says with a smirk slapped on his face. I can't help but let laughter spill from my lips, and a smile curve at the corners of my mouth. "I don't know how I could live without you." My heart melts and I can feel my arms start shaking.
"I don't know how I'd live without you either Austin." I gladly reply. Austin lets go of the embrace, and my smile quickly fades. "So when's Jimmy coming over to record the new song?" I say curiously.
"Um, couple hours I think. We should start doing a few demos of this top hit song Ally." Austin smiles and his feet start pounding against the stairs as he starts racing up them, his hands gripping the banister as he starts skipping two steps at a time. In just a few short seconds he's at the very top of the stairs, waiting by the door. "Coming?" I laugh and start racing up the stairs myself, that is until I trip up and fall flat on my face. I hear Austin let out a huge laugh and all I can do is roll my eyes and try pathetically to get up on my feet. I slowly push myself up until I'm back standing straight. Austin's smirking, a woe grin stretched from ear to ear. How humiliating. But I guess Austin's laugh and smile is enough for me to recover.
"Haha. Very funny." I say sarcastically; already walking up the stairs, slowly this time.
"Hurry up slow poke. We've already wasted enough time when you were trying to learn how to climb stairs properly." I smile lightly and roll my eyes.
"We'll I'm tryna learn from the best." He laughs for the final time. We both walk into the room and I sit down on the piano, my messy handwritten piano notes sprawled on a wonky angle along the slightly crumpled page sitting in front of me. Austin's eyebrows furrow together. "I was rushing it las night. To finish." I inform him. He nods.
"Alright. Let's get to it then. You can record the back round music on the piano first, then after you've done that, I'll record me singing." I nod.
"Sounds like a good plan to me." Austin heads over to the microphone and pulls it next to the piano keys. Then he heads over to the recording machine we bought together and counts me in with his fingers. 1, 2, 3. My fingers run along the keys, the music pouring from the piano out into the early silence in the room. I look down from the keys, up to the sheets of music. When it comes round to the chorus for the last time, my eyes are fixed on Austin's eyes, and his small smile spreading across his lips. When the song ends he turns off the recorder.
"That was awesome Ally." I get up from my seat and pretend I'm bowing and waving to the crowd.
"I wish you could do that in real life." Austin says quietly.
"You make it sound like it's your fault." I say, my eyebrows coming together. I walk over next to him and he looks down at me.
"I know it's not. I just wish I could do something to help."
"We'll, you can help me right now." I give him the microphone so he can record the song. "Sing for me." He smiles and walks over to the middle of the room for more volume. I walk next to the music recorder and smile.
