Winter's Weep

When a biting cold strikes heavy,
When you shiver and turn from the world,
Is when reclusiveness becomes synonymous with respite.

As the unstoppable storm brews,
As the overloaded downpour snuffs out vision,
Is when an enveloping blindness becomes reality.

When you become cold,
When you become tired,
When you become incapable,
Is when you've known a Winter's Weep.
