How Are You?

A question assaulting intellect,

Boiling life to a digestible stew.

Life is dynamism incarnate,

Strangers see smiles of pleasantry,

Coworkers see a steadfast vigilance,

Family and friends see a curtain to be pulled at my discretion.

I wish I was always smiling,

Beholden to duality in a society,

I'm an ever-evolving amalgamation wrapping an impermeable prison,

So I hope you have a while to listen.
