Waking with my plan in mind I quickly rushed towards the shower with my towel. Last he had come home around 11ish and came into my room. I pretended to be a sleep and turned my back towards the door, not wanting to see him or him seeing me.
When I had finally heard my door close I turned back around and got up to lock it. Inside there was something telling me to open the door and rush after him, to drop all my anger that I had built up in the last 2 days. He was my best friend and I loved him very much but in the end I decided I would be going through with my plan.
After getting out of the shower I quickly dried myself and rushed to my closest to put in the clothes that I had laid out last night. Walking back into the bathroom I started to brush out the bird's nest on my head. To save more time I had washed my hair before going to sleep and now was dealing with the horrid outcome. Trying to quickly yank out the knots I had hurt myself multiple times but about 7 minutes of brushing had done the job and I was victorious. After finishing my hair I looked towards my makeup bag, anticipating whether or not I should put some on. A few minutes had gone by and I decided to to take it with me. I would do my make up in the car at school. I rushed out of the bathroom and graded my keys, phone, and bag.
Before heading downstairs I looked over at the clock to see that it read 6:45, meaning I had 15 minutes until Everest woke up. Take the stairs 2 at a time I walked into the kitchen to see that David was just heading out.
"Oh. Hey Raven. Ready for your first day of school" ,he asked as he poured some hot coffee into a cup.
"I guess you can say that" ,I walked over to the fridge to see if we had any frozen fruits.
"Well, I'm pretty sure with Everest by your side your day will go smoothly."
"I'm sure it will."
He picked up his keys and headed out the door but not before say bye and wishing me good luck.
I grabbed the bag of frozen mangos pieces and walk over to the counter. Next I began looking for some Ziploc bags and a plastic fork. Going through the drawers I found finally them. I walked over to the counter and dumped the fruit in the small bag. It was almost full and I stopped, satisfied with the amount. Picking up my keys I headed out the door and to my car.
Sliding into the car I pulled down the sun shield and opened up the mirror thing. Searching through my make bag, I found my eyeliner and attempted to make both wings the same. Thankfully they looked alright to me on the first try. I put on some tinted lip balm and started my car. Pulling out the drive was I was careful not to crash into the mailbox. I started making my way to school which was about a 15 minute drive. When I got to school, the parking lot was pretty empty with a few cars parked in the teacher reserve spaces. I gathered all my things and made sure to grab my mangos.
I first needed to go the library to get all my books and another schedule. Walking through the halls I felt as if I was in a horror movie and someone was following me. I would turn my head every few seconds to make sure no one was there. As I reached the library I saw a small middle aged woman unlocking the doors. I could she was having a bit of a trouble with it cause of the books she was carrying. I rushed over and took some out of her hands and she gave me a thankful smile. As she walked in I followed to a counter and set the books down. She walked around to the other side before asking "How can I help you?"
"I just transferred here and it's my first day" ,I answered.
"And?" ,she asked.
"I was wondering if you could help me get my books for all my classes." ,I said.
"Yes of course I can. Do you have your schedule with you?"
