My phone vibrated illuminating jaden's name.
I answered the phone, "what's good?", I asked.
"You know the usual... at his house alone again.", jaden said with a attitude.
"I would come over and keep you company but....you know.", I said flopping down in my bed.
He huffed, "I just wish he would stop choosing his bros over me.... like tonight was supposed to be our night."
"See now if I was your man you wouldn't go thru those kind of problems."
"Boy shutup you obviously wanted that tired out hoe kayla.", he said all in one breath.
"Yea to keep my cover... I admit I did catch feelings... then when I started to feel the guilt eating my insides... I then knew I fucked up big time.", I said staring at the wall.
"Yea... you did fuck up."
"Yep.", I said popping the p.
"I miss you tho.", I said biting my lip.
"I miss you too."
"When can we see each other again?", I asked.
"Right now.", Jaden said.
"You forreal?", I asked sitting up from my bed.
"Yea... I need you to come pick me up from his house... I want you to come because.... I'm breaking up with him tonight."
"On god?"
"Boy.", he said lightly laughing.
"But yea I want you to pick me up & I also want you to hide in his bushes because I know he's going to be either drunk or high when he gets here and I know he's gonna try something funny."
"What you mean try something funny.... has he hit you before?!", I semi-yelled.
"Only once."
"Fuck you mean!", I hollered.
"Chill delton he was just drunk.", he said.
"He still ain't got no right putting his hands on you."
"That was like so long ago... just promise you won't do anything to him.", I said in a hopeful voice.
"I'm not making no promises you know I don't like this nigga and he just.... he just think he got the right to put his hands on my baby?!"
