Hermione's POV///
I clung to my mother as her tears fell onto my shoulder. I was four inches taller then her. "Promise me to be safe?" She asked whipping her tears.
"Of course I will be mum. I'll be back for Thanksgiving in no time," I teased hiding my own tears. "I can't believe our baby is going away to boarding school," my father said hugging my mother and me.
"Guys I'll be fine. Trust me please," I begged. It took countless hours of arguing to get them to say yes. I was there only child that's never been away from home with out them.
"Hermione please we aren't kidding. New York is a big city please be carful," my mother scolded me. "Mom please I'm not a baby anymore."
"I know I know," she said sighing. I guess it got to her that her only child would be away for school.
I couldn't help it that I was the smartest in our school. This new school promised so much more for me.
I had to accept, I got a full scholarship. "Okay I have to go. I love both of you," I said giving them one last hug goodbye.
"We love you too," they said letting me go. I grabbed my carry-on and walked into the tunnel leading to the plane. I looked back once more and saw my parents crying.
I looked ahead just like my future hopefully it all gets better from here.
Draco's POV///
I was grabbing my bags handle so hard my knuckles where almost turning white.
I looked to my mother who looks hurt and feared of what was going to become of me.
"I'll be fine I promise," I told her as I looked back to my father.
"Now when you get there, follow orders. Make sure to make us proud," my father said frowning at me.
"Are you sure he has to do this?" A gentale vocie rang. "Of course he has to. Mort asked from him by name. We can't let them down again," my father replied vocie full of venom.
"Father what if I can't follow through with what they ask of me?" I asked looking back to my knuckles.
"Then they kill you," he said surprisingly calm. "And you would be okay with that?" My mother asked.
"It hasn't happened yet. Now get going, don't keep the Slytherin house waiting. Your uncle will be waiting for you to help you move in. Now go," he said pushing me to the boarding gate.
"Good-bye Draco," mother said looking at me. I didn't even turn around, I know my mum doesn't deserve the cold shoulder but she's letting my father put me into the gang.
I swallowed hard and walked down the tunnel on to the plane looking for my seat. I looked around and saw a familiar face.
"Ha if it isn't the book worm herself," I sang looking right to Hermione Granger.
She sighed and looked at me, "Why are you here Malfoy?"
"Because my seat so happens to be next to you," I replied putting my carry-on away.
"Great just great," she muttered under her breath. "I heard that by the away."
"Why don't you go to hell already?" She shot at me pissed clearly. "Why don't you join me?" I asked smirking.
"Never," she spat she said facing the window. "So why are you going to New York?" I asked sitting next to her.
"School."
"What school?"
"The Four Founders," I groaned and shifted uncomfortably. "Is that a problem to you?" She hissed.
"Just a little bit street rat," I huffed among her cring at her old nick name that she hated.
"I'm not a street rat."
"Your outfits and family said different," I hissed. "Sorry not all of us can be rich because of the gang and mobsters."
"I find that offensive. But not entirely."
"What house are you in?" I asked changing my attitude again. "Why the hell do you care?"
"So I don't have to share a housing area with the street rat."
"Gryffindor," she hissed. "Thank good that school has some sort of system," I mumbled.
She rolled her eyes and plugged her head phones into her phone. I copied her actions. And drifted to sleep.
***
Hermione's POV///I watched as Draco slept twisting in his set. I just rolled my eyes and unbuckled my seat belt and grabbed my carry-on.
Here goes nothing, I thought. "Malfoy, get up," I hissed ripping his earbuds out and walked away. I left him with a confused look on his face.
I walked to the baggage claim, and found my two thins of luggage the rest was sent earlier. I walked past Malfoy again making my way to the pick up area.
I looked for a sign that had my name on it and walked over to the man. "Miss Granger?" He asked smiling.
"Yes that's me," I said sticking out my hand. He shook it with a kind smile, "Please let me take your bags."
I kindly handed them to him, and followed him to the car. He placed my bags into the back and I got in to the back seat.
"We'll be there in five minutes," he said looking into the review mirror into my eyes.
"Sounds good to me."
He nodded and backed out. I looked out my window and made eye contact with Malfoy hoping he didn't see me.
Who knows made he didn't, because he had a smirk on his face.
Authors note:
Hey guys it's Vivi and I just wanted to say wow. I'm starting an other book. I'll just say I love this ship and can't stop thinking about it.
Pleas leave comments and votes as you read it will make my day or week.
As you can see somethings are different from the actual books and movies. I placed it in America, and they aren't wizards or witches.
I just liked the thought of something different instead of every other Dramione book. I hope you enjoy.
Vivi
