Chapter Five: Secrets Are No Fun
Draco's POV:///
I give up. This mark is ruining everything. Anytime someone comes here my left arm I flinch a little.
And me being me I walked into the bathroom with out a shirt and Hermione was sitting there doing her hair. I ran back into my room and grabbed a sweatshirt.
"God your stupid," I hissed at myself.
"Hey Malfoy are you okay?" I heard a voice ask from the other side of the door.
"Y-yeah. Are you still going to come out with me?" I asked my hopes rising. "W-well–Harry says I should. So yes but this is your one chance," she huffed.
I smiled to myself, "Okay be ready in fifteen minutes." I could hear her sighing, "I'll be ready in ten."
I smiled to myself and looked for some clothes that would be nice. I grabbed a blue sweatshirt, kahkis, and threw on some of my Vans.
I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and did my hair trying my best not to use my left arm. It hurt to touch it. I could only imagine what it would feel like use that arm.
"Are you ready?" Hermione asked walking into the bathroom. "Just about," I repiled looking over her outfit.
She wore a pair of jeans, a loose gray sweater, a pink scarf, and gray Ugg boots. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail with little pieces coming out here and there but it looked good.
She always looked good. "So what are we doing?" She stated walking into my dorm room. "It's a surprise silly. Now come on we have to go," I answered grabbing her hand.
"Draco I'm not so sure about this," she reviled but slowly came with me. "What's there not to be sure about?"
She gave a faint smile, "Everything. How do I know that your not just using me for your book? Or that you think that this is just a joke? Or maybe that you–"
I pulled her close and slammed my lips into hers. "That was a really nice way to tell me to shut up," she answered smiling.
"Yeah I know now let's go," I answered smiling leading the way again. We walked out of the dorm section and to the court-yard.
"Are we just staying here?" She asked confused.
"Your not getting it out of me that easy," I answered her.
"Just tell me, it won't matter."
"But it will matter–to me. It's a surprise now keep your mouth shut."
She giggled and kept walking. I took her through a trail that lead to Centeral Park.
"What are we doing here?" She asked looking around.
"Wait I know, it's a surprise," she mocked my voice.
"That's not funny," I countered leading her to a grassy area.
There was a blanket laid out along with a basket.
"Are we, having a picnic?" Hermione asked eyes going wide with excitement.
"Yes we are. I hope you like sweet tea, sandwhiches, and fruit " I stated taking out the food.
"And chips?" She asked grabbing the container they were in.
"And chips," I repiled laughing. I felt as the heat began to rise.
Hermione had pushed the sleeves of her shirt up. "Draco you look uncomfortable why don't you pull your sleeves up?" She asked reaching for my left arm.
