Longing for your return
Dreaming of our love
Imaging our future together
The one we promised would come true
No matter how long I had to be without you
It was a sacrifice
Or so it seemed
Until I realized
You were fine
Better than I could ever be
Maybe that's how it is after awhile
It just so happens to be that you never really cared for me
You lied and cheated
I was a fool in love
You were the criminal master mind
You had no intention of coming back
You played my like a deck of cards
But baby I would get even
Because you can't gamble without the addiction
