29 calls at 2am

Wrecking Wednesday

Last night was horrible and so were my inexplicable words spoken without a second thought, I looked at my clock and growled from frustration. I made my way downstairs in a pair of sponge bob pajamas, I plunged myself on the couch and looked at my mom who clearly returned yesterday night from her trip.

"Honey why don't I see you ready?" She examined from head to toe.

"I don't plan on going to school today" I said resting my head on the platform.

"This is your last week anyways or say last 3 days and why don't you just want to cherish it? Did you and Ty have a fight or you got shouting yesterday? Or is it that Ty didn't ask for prom which makes you sulk?" She fired.

"Wo-ho chill mom and yes I broke up with that jerk but he did ask from prom which I refused" I replied quickly.

"Oh, I am sorry hon-" she stopped as the telephone rang.

"Hello" "Oh okay" "Fine anytime" "Yeah it would be perfect" "Thanks" "Bye"  was all I could hear

"Who was it?" I questioned,

"Umm Jason"

"What did he say?"

"Well he wants to talk to you so I will make a move and he would come by and talk but please change yourself"

"Talk about what?"

"I'm not Jason!"

She walked inside her room and slammed th door harsh, capable of breaking the walls around the stupid door. I sauntered inside my room and changed myself into a pair of denim shorts and long hoodie over it. The bell rang and I opened it seeing a very familiar face with a grin.

"Hey"

"We're you expecting me?"

"No someone else!"

"Well he too is coming, just parking"

Zach moved inside and then there was Jason jogging towards the doorframe.

We all settled down in my room, Jason sat on my chair and started the computer, Zach sat by the corner of the bed and I sat on the couch interpreting the situation.

"So..?" I started the conversation.

"Oh sorry we have something to tell about Ty"

"I preferably shouldn't hear it"

"Come on Grace it is very important, please"

"Fine go on!"

"That night whatever you saw was a just a concept of misunderstanding well when you first saw it your reaction was super fast but you missed a fact in it, it was that Laura was kissing Ty but Ty just stood there is an expression of shock" Jason ranted

I frowned.

"We have got couple of things which would prove that Ty loves you and Laura is a big admirer of Ty" I gasped and seeing that Zach continued removing some prints "We found this from one of Laura's friend which clearly says she loved him and you too know he is good looking so it was bound to happen. She just wanted him all by herself and getting him wouldn't be possible because he loves you and would never leave you so doing thing in front of you would possibly make a break up"

I looked at the sheet the the bolus in my throat jumped up and down proving me wrong, I bit my lower lip but then burst out in tears. I hugged Zach and Jason hugged my back we were rooted to our places for a couple of minutes,United when the bell rang again signalling someone just came.

I opened the door and to my shock it was Hailey all giddy and behind her Ella grinning sheepishly.

I screamed " I love you Ty Parker and am asking you from prom!!!!!!!"

Excitement was obvious in my tone but then there was Jason acting up all serious "Not like that!"

"What?"

"Plan something you stupid" we all chuckled

The entire day we were planning something unique and the most surprising thing was that as we all missed school Ty called Jason and he heard my voice but he didn't doubt that bad. We came with couple of ideas ;

1) Ella suggested we do the same thing which was planned by Ty for me but then we all disagreed saying that he might doubt and it would be just a coping kind of thing.

2)  Zach suggested that as he likes football and while be is playing I could walk up to him in front of the entire high school and ask him out also he suggested that he would call some people who would hold banners and all that. One major problem is that I am quite a shy though  I would do anything to cover one of the biggest mistakes I made or misunderstanding to be precise but then what if he asked another girl out?

3) Hailey as expected suggested me taking him to a shopping small and ask him there but a shopping mall seriously? Nah there could be something better. Hailey tried to convince me that this could be the best idea but I just shook my head in disappointment.

4)Jason said that he would take Ty out and I would go there and ask him out BUT WHERE I WANT THAT FOR JESUS SAKE!!! I banged my head hard with my hand and growled.

They all went at 12 and some more weird thoughts invaded am head and then finally my head struck with the greatest idea, that idea actually struck at exact 2 am quite interesting, I looked at my phone and I had gotten 29 calls from Ty and I started to dial his number but then I giggled and said to myself "let's make him wait a little more which would be fun and worth a wait"

I called some people that night or in fact messaged them because they would be in slumber. I smiled and had the best sleep in decades.
