GROOMSMEN
"Shit man, you're getting married."
Said Stan the best man.
"Well, its not surprising,
You've been in love with her since the first meeting."
"Just promise me you guys won't get carried away by the Stag night,
At least let there be no fights."
"Hey! That was one time and we were drunk,
And once we were thrown out, we were sprayed by a skunk."
Said Andrew, and he continued to narrate the plight of that night.
"So Steve, I hope you can survive in your monogamy
And try and successfully stay away from the polyamory."
Even though I knew Stan was joking,
The thought was stuck in my head.
I shrugged the bad thoughts away.
We headed off to the bar,
Which was weirdly named 'A blanket of Stars'
While Andrew and Stan tried to unsuccessfully flirt with girls,
My mind was spinning in a whorl.
