Rosey and Kevin rode over to Roseys neighborhood park. During the ride they shared a long conversation about music because Rosey questioned how she's never heard of the bands playing.Kevin said he was really into underground bands. That people use to come into Spencer's and advertise their music and he always took them up. Something about supporting the locals.
When they got to that part there was only one family there. A mother with two boys and a baby girl. The boys were playing with sticks and te baby was crying. It wasn't as crowded with tiny kids as it normally was so Rosey was glad.
They got out of the car and walked towards the vacant monkey bars. Rosey immediately pulled herself up and swung upside down, she looked light and flowey. Kevin stood next to the upside down kitten and lifted himself up and over the bars. Rosey noticed how define his muscles were through his shirt as he heaved himself up.
Rosey took the park in upside down. It was a circular park with an incline to where the actual play ground was and the ground starting then was covered in mulch and the outer layer was fully dead grass. Rosey thought about herself falling off and shivered. These types of Parks ate never truly safe yet they're made for kids. Speaking of kids, the boys had moved to the slide right across from them and were playing clubhouse. The'd occasionally steal glances at the couple considering how odd one of them looked to what their use to seeing but they kept to themselves more so. On a bench right behind it sat the mother now feeding the child and bouncing her on her leg.
Rosey began getting lightheaded from being upside down for about a minute so she swung herself over and joined Kevin who was sky gazing on top of the money bars. Upon flipping over she adjusted her shirt that even though tight fitting adjusted slightly and moved her hair extensions around. She checked her cat ears and was suprised to see them still on the only movement they got was a sleep ght shift to the left that Rosey fixed in a snap before mimicking Kevins position of laying horizontally across the bars. Roseys tail found a crevice and fell through the open slot and her feet dangled over. Her hands behind her head.
"Is it too early to start having deep conversations"
Kevins voice sounded so serious as he stared at the clouds but the randomness of the question threw Rosey off and she laughed. Kevin joined with a chuckle a few seconds after.
"Um.. no.. I don't think so. Why? What's on your mind?"
Kevin shrugged
"Not really anything. These clouds just make me want to have random conversations about life"
There was a pause
"Ya know.. this is probably weird but I'm really nervous about this relationship Rosey."
Rosey looked at him and he looked back
"Yeah, same. Its normal?"
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Another shared silence
"That cloud looks like a car"
Rosey pointed a finger straight in the air. Kevin tried to follow it but wasn't really successful.
"Where?"
"Near the sun"
Rosey smirked and felt Kevin turn a bit before quickly covering his eyes.
"Yeah.. a little to bright over there."
Rosey let out a laugh and they began having a full discussion on what clouds looked to each other and if the other could see it which most times they did but a very disagreements we're made before Kevin noticed a dark cloud right over head.
"Uh.. it looks like it's going to rain."
And as if on que buckets of water began to poor on the couple out in the open. They both jumped up and off the bars. The small family that was there a few minutes ago was no where to be seen at this point and they rushed to the car. Kevin cursing under his breath for parking so far.
Rosey was laughing at they ran. Something about the comical sudden ness of it was was hilarious and Kevin joined in after Roseys contagious roar. They were all out having fun over getting soaked and seeking shelther.
Once at the car Kevin fumbled with his keys to unlock the car dropping it not once but twice causing Rosey to stiffle another laugh outbreak. Once the doors we're unlocked they hopped in and closed them behind them. Both of them were trying hard to catch their breathes. The car was fully quiet now except for their breathing and taps of raindrops around the car. Kevin began combing his hair with his fingers and looked over to catch Rosey staring at him.
Her cat ears were floppy now filled with rain and slightly slanted probably from running. Her chest was moving in and out to indicated hard breathing. Her lips looked pinker and they came towards him slowly.
Kevin and Rosey shared their first kiss.
