Hallie left earlier this morning to go to church with her family. Jessa and I sat on the couch downstairs in silence, because neither of us were in the mood to talk since we were up so late. I'm still trying to take in and understand that I have a sprained ankle. At least it's not broken or fractured, but it's still difficult to cope with because I can't dance.

"Want to go get your dress for formal today?" I broke the silence.

"I guess we could, we'll have to take a taxi though," Jess replied.

"It'll be fine. We'll go at noon okay?"

"Alright! I'm going to go take a shower." She got up and walked upstairs.

I made the choice to get up and blog. I open up my laptop and go to my website an- HOLY CRAP. One hundred responses?! How did.. okay what?!! I clicked on the notifications and scrolled through the responses:

"Oh my god that sucks! I'm so sorry for you, I hope you heal soon. For now, take it easy, okay? In my thoughts!"

"Yikes... Sprained ankle and Julliard are NOT a good math for eachother. Get well soon!"

"Something like that happened to me once, I thought it would be the end of the world. You'll heal and be back on your feet in no time, don't worry girl!"

I didn't know this many people would be interested in this blog, nor did I realize that people would care. I got too sidetracked with reading all of these comments, and I lost track of time. I should probably get ready to go shopping with Jess.

I put a pair of black running shorts and my t-shirt I bought from senior prom. I brushed my teeth, put my hair in a ponytail and grabbed my wallet.

"Jessa, are you ready to go?" I yelled to her.

"Yeah, let's GOOOOO!!" she screamed back.

"You know you could have taken in to consideration that I don't want to lose my sense of hearing," I said sarcastically.

"Sorry I'm just really really really really really really really really excited."

I put my hands on her shoulders. "Calm," I whispered. Jessa burst into laughter. We had a nice laughing fest for a few minutes and then walked down outside to call a taxi. The taxi ride was sort of odd. I kept getting weird looks from this guy and it was a bit sketchy, but never mind that.

When we arrived at the shop, I paid the taxi driver and Jessa and I stepped out. I had never been into an actual shop specifically for dresses, especially not fancy dresses. I've always ordered my dresses online because I feel like there is more of a variety. I walked in to this store though, and I felt like I was a princess browsing her wardrobe for a ball. Something like that, I don't know what princesses do it's just an assumption. Needless to say, gravity pulled my jaw straight to the ground as I stood in awe looking around.

Jessa waved a hand in front of my face, "Hello? Earth to little girl!" I ignored it, still staring. SHe finally just sighed and did her middle aged mom from New Jersey impression. "Close ya mouth hun ya gonna swallow a bug," which made me burst to laughter. Really though, I need to enjoy this shop. I'm loving it, as McDonald's would say.
