Chapter 9

Streak was puzzled by the thoughts of the murder. The only things that ran through her mind was why she would do such a thing and why.

Staluna is the most amazing wolf i know.. She said to herself. Occasionally, she would glare at Pure, who was walking beside her with Celestia on her back.

"When I find who did this to our alpha, their face won't be recognizable." Streak growled, listening to Pure's heart speed up.

"This must go to Daughter of the Star Wolf." Streak stated, looking at Pure. Immediately, she shook her head.

"She despises Eclipolves. Therefore I cannot go." She quickly said, watching the dirt below them. Streak lowered her ears, unamused.

"The Daughter knows all who lives in Starwing Pure."

"I don't want to upse-"

"What will she say for an ALPHA Eclipolf who has been gashed?" She held back her anger.

After a while of arguing, Streak persuaded her to come along. The layer was on the other side of Starwing, where they found the Twilight Moons. The journey didn't take too much time. Since Pure decided to fly them, they arrived in only a few days rather than weeks.

This will be interesting.. Streak snickered in her head, planning what she will say to the Daughter. They glided down to the stoned pathway. Pure released Streak, making sure the alpha didn't get any more damage. The cave that stood before them was decorated with gemstones and bones.

"This is amazing." Streak was awe-struck. Pure didn't say anything only observed silently.They walked down the path, cautious about a guard jumping out and scaring them.

Noticing her nervousness, Streak pushed Pure in front of her, making sure she really gets scared.

"Who are you?" A loud voice echoed, stopping the two.

"We are Streak and Pure, from the Staluna clan."

"What is your purpose here?"

"Our alpha has been attacked brutally by another."

Silence..

"Enter." They walked in, holding Celestia in their front paws.

"Why would a wolf attack an alpha? Streak asked, looking up at the large wolf.

She was a large white wolf with eyes as bright as the sun. Their glistened when the sun rose and faded when it set. Her other name is the Sun Pup. There are other wolves like her but born from other celestial objects.

The Celestolves are wolves from the Gods. The Mercuyar, Veniz, Earrtr, Marza, Astrouta, Jupitara, Saturza, Neptani, Uranaa, and Plutan.

Streak began to notice Pure getting uneasy yet remained calm and collected. She observed the cave, avoiding any eye contact with any wolf within the cave. The Daughter cleared her throat loudly.

"Do you have a claim on whom might have done this?" She asked, watching Pure. Streak stepped forward holding the shard of metal from the wound.

"I have strong evidence of whom. This piece was found in the open wound of Celestia Staluna. Since I am a Memowismin, I have seen what has happened to our alpha."

"Explain." Streak prepared the exact sight she saw to say in words.

"She spotted Staluna hunting. Since she was alone, she could make an easy target of her. Her metallic claws clicked on small pebbles lying coldly on the ground. Staluna turned her head towards the white wolf. She saw alarm run through her veins.
Panicked, she ran into the crowded forest, not minding the trees cutting her sides and face. The white shewolf tailed her, readying her claws for ambush. Staluna turned her head, looking back at the wolf. Her eyes shrunk when she noticed who the white wolf was. She pounced of Celestia, gashing her deeply. The wolf saw the light in her eyes slowly began to fade, going into a state of unconsciousness."

Pure fidgeted with her wings, her pupils shrunk after Streak explained her story.

"The bumps indicated an Eclipolf." The Daughter said. Streak rose her tail.

Now I can truly prove this.

"However." Streak's heart skipped a beat. "Since the Eclipolf has attacked the alpha. This Eclipolf must be killed at once." Streak and Pure looked at each other. From hatred towards the killer to fear and sadness.

"Can the Eclipolf's wings be cut only? Or full execution?" Pure stammered, shocked from the Daughter's words.

"Immediate death. None the less." She boldly said, moving her tail to the other side of her rump. Streak was shocked.

E-execution?! I thought she would be banned from Starwing. But I guess that would be the same thing.

"Do you know who the killer is Streak?"

"I do." Streak lowered her head.

"Speak their name, Lunarwolf." The Sunpup said, leaning forward in her throne.

"This wolf is no other than.."

"Than?" She was getting impatient.

"..Pure."
