~ Melissa’s POV ~
We headed back from the Fair and to Justin’s house. We got up in his room and fell asleep. I had troubles falling asleep. I was afraid that ‘what if Justin really forgot about our anniversary?’, ‘What If that’s why him and Ashley broke up.’ All these ‘What If’s’ kept flowing through the back of my mind.
Justin: Babe why are you still up? *sleep voice*
Me: I can’t sleep.
Justin: *sits up and pulls me close to his chest* Why not? What’s wrong?
Me: Just been thinking
Justin: about?
Me: All Sorts of things. Too many to mention.
Justin: Just promise me you won’t doubt us.
Me: I won’t babe I promise.
Justin: I love you Melissa.
Me: I love you too Justin. Erm.. Justin..
Jusitn: Yes my love?
Me: Do you legit know what tomorrow is?
Justin: Of course I do!!
That answer made me loose some of the doubt. I wasn’t as worried that now I could actually sleep.
Justin: Well Melissa get some sleep babe, We have a long day a head of us.
Me: We do?
Justin: *ignores the question* Good Night babe *cuddles me in his arms*
We both drifted off into sleep and woke up around 8am the next morning.
~ Danny’s POV~
I woke Justin up at 7am because he asked me if I would. Then me and Tori headed off to get some stuff done before our date tonight.
Tori: Babe you ready?
Me: Of course. Well later Justin, good luck with your anniversary.
Justin: Thanks man , it means a lot.
Me: Anytime bro.
~Justin’s POV~
I needed to finish prepping for tonight. I was making it look like I forgot our anniversary but truth is I didn’t. I wouldn’t miss any anniversary with the love of my life ever. Melissa woke up around 8AM .
Me: Get dressed.
Melissa: Okay. What for?
Me: Just get dressed in something nice.
Melissa: Okay god damn.
We went out got in the car and left to the mall.
Melissa: what are we doing here?
Me: Shopping.. Obviously.
Melissa: Oh um okay.
We went shopping and was there for a couple hours. Melissa didn’t seem to enthused to go shopping and get whatever she pleased. But then again she isn’t that kind of girl that likes spending others money.
We got home around 7pm after running some other errands. We got in and I sat down and turned the TV on. Melissa looked disappointed.
Melissa: You forgot. *mellow, disappointed voice*
Me: Forgot what?
Melissa: You forgot our anniversary Justin. How could you forget?
Me: I - *she cut me off*
Melissa: I should of known better than to fall in love with someone like you.
Me: Melissa please.
She ran off outside and down the block. I ran up to her and she was crying sitting on a curb.
Me: I didn’t forget.
Melissa: How do I know you’re not lying?
Me: *grasped her hands and stared in her eyes* I would never forget something so special with the love of my life. Every moment in my life I want to spend with you. I have never been so in love until the day we physically ran into each other at the hotel. I never forgot our Anniversary. I have been planning for two weeks for this day. It may not have gone as you planned but this evening isn’t even over! You ran out before I could even bring anything up about it.
Melissa: *speechless stare* I-I’m sorry.
Me: Don’t be sorry baby girl. I would of thought the same thing.
Melissa: Really?
Me: *chuckles* Yes. I mean It was my plan to make you think I forgot. So that you wouldn’t be expecting what is happening tonight. And I know you aren’t a material girl but one of the reasons I took you shopping and bought you whatever was part of our Anniversary.
Melissa: Even the Victoria secret ? yeah I saw what you snuck in my bag *laughs*
Me: Let’s go home and try it on.
Melissa: Mmm okay.
We went home and up to my room where all the bags were. And Melissa grabbed the Victoria Secret bagged and hustled into the bathroom.
