The town was covered with ashes as the smoky sky was covered with the flames caused by the fires throughout the town. The only thing to be heard was the shouts of rebellion, as the townspeople all held guns and weapons against their mayor, who now resides in the pool of blood that had flowed from his stab wound inflicted by the small child, Allyssa. Nobody would ever suspect her to even point a butter knife at someone, much less stab the horrible mayor with a large kitchen knife. "You put me and my family through hell and back. Now you pay for it with your soul." The little girl said as her voice grew mature, almost teenage, and her shadow grew into a huge monstrous figure, much like a demon. The shadow had taken its own form, and walked to the girl's side, resting one of his large hands on her tiny shoulder. "Time to leave, child. The elders will be very pleased with your progress. You'll soon unlock your full potential to someday rule the Underworld." The brute held out his hand for the girl to take, and she grabbed it, letting him lead her through the strange portal that had opened up behind them. The mayor lay idle, staring at the girl, with the last of his vision, who is now walking through the portal with the huge beast, and the last thing he ever heard was the little girl saying "Karnat, will the elders finally make me a full demon? I want to make you proud of me when I get my powers!" Karnat lightly chuckled and said "Soon, Allyssa. Soon. You must have patience." "Okay Karnat!"
