Phil's POV
"I dare you to go on a date with Dan Howell," Tyler said.

"Ugh not that secondary school kid. I'm 23 I don't need to be dating 18 year old kids," I protested.

"You're the one that picked dare, it's not our faults," my group of friends argued.

"Okay fine whatever, it's not like we have to do anything," I said thinking out loud.

"Oh yes you do, you at least have to kiss him," Chris yelled out of the crowd.

"I can't do that, he's just a kid," I yelled back.

"Well you picked dare and now you have to do it," PJ yelled.

"Ugh fine, I'll kiss the kid," I said groaning. I was not looking forward to the date.

One week later

I was sitting out in front of the secondary school waiting for the kids to get out. I finally heard the bell ring and the doors flooded with kids. They all looked at me as they walked past. It was probably because I was wearing mostly all black, I had piercing all over my face, and was littered with tattoos.

I saw the short pastel walk out of the school building, looking down at his feet when he walked past me. "Hey Dan," I called out to him as he stopped and turned around. I stood up and walked closer to him. "Hey," I said smiling and waving, instantly softening at the boy. He didn't deserve the mean side of me.

"Oh hey," he replied pushing up his purple plastic glasses and adjusting his flower crown. If I had to be honest he really was quite cute.

"You look nice today," I said thinking out loud.

"Uh thanks," he replied blushing.

"Here let me get that," I said taking the stack of books out of his hand.

"Thanks again," he said blushing even more.

"Your cute," I said watching him blush even more, I moved his books into my left arm and grabbed his hand with my right. He couldn't turn a darker shade of red after that.

"Why are you doing this?" He asked, looking up at me. "No one is ever nice to me," he replied looking back down.

"Because you seem like a nice guy and I wanted to get to know you better," I replied as we continued walking the school grounds. I wasn't really lying, he did seem like a nice kid, but I wasn't telling the truth either.

"You seem a little bit older to be attending secondary school," he said skeptically looking up at me.

"Yeah well I'm not exactly in secondary school," I replied laughing.

"Well how old are you?" He asked.

"Older than you," I replied shortly, he wouldn't want to go out with me if he knew how old I really was.

"How did you find out about me then?" He asked.

"A friend of mine told me about you, besides you're more well known than you think," I replied laughing, man he was full of questions.

"What am I know for?" He asked, curiosity sparking in his eyes.

"Well you're the only pastel around here and I'm the only punk, people like to talk," I said. It was true though all people ever did was talk.

"Where are we going exactly?" He stopped and asked me. I almost forgot I was holding his hand until he stopped and his hand tugged on mine.

"Coffee?" I asked, it seemed generic enough.
