I forced my eye lids open, only for them to flutter with disagreement.
I awakened to a bright light, shining directly towards my face.My eyes soon adjusted to the burning light, my arms, now the only thing between me and the floor.
My gaze shot up to the sound of screaming in the nearby distance, it soon ended with a loud thud. I shivered in fear.
My eyes now squinting to look at the mysterious man walking towards me.
He had short, black hair and red eyes. In some what way, he looked beautiful."W-who are y-you?" I said shakily, hoping he wouldn't sense my fear.
"Its time to come home now, Athena" he said with a smirk on his face.
Uggh, i squinted in pain as I felt my blood boil underneath my skin.
He then quickly picked me up in his arms and wrapped his arms around my waist tightly.
He tilted his head slightly and gazed into my eyes curiously. Placing a soft kiss on my cheek.
"I am your father, Athena" he blurted out with a soft look on his face.
I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't believe it. I could feel tears of joy slip down my soft cheek, as i slipped my arms around his neck.
"My name is Damian, my sweet Athena, your mother died when you were only but a fledgling, her name was Elisabeth, you have your mothers eyes, her beautiful eyes" a soft smile made its way to my lips.
"Here, drink" he said extending his arm. I ignored him and hid my face in his neck. "Athena, all young vampires have to drink their parents blood. Its a tradition after all!" I shook my head, but he wouldn't take no for an answer.
He bit into his arm and forcefully shoved his arm into my mouth. At first, it tasted disgusting but I soon got used to the taste. The more I drank the more tastier it got. "Athena! Let go this instant!" He said with a loud growl erupting from his stomach. I quickly realised I was sucking him dry, and released his arm immediately. He sighed and cradled me in his arms. My soft wavy hair swaying on his chest. I clenched onto his black shirt and soon fall asleep.
