Ending my Darkness

Chapter 9

-Ty's POV-

**dream**

I gaze off into the ocean. The sunset is beautiful pink, orange, and yellow,all blended together to make a beautiful sunset color. The waves are crashing onto the golden sand.

My beautiful boyfriend is sitting next to me holding my hand. We both are gazing out into the beautiful ocean. We both decided to stand up and take a walk. I'm walking against the shoreline, waves to crashing onto my feet, the sand is and my toes.

"Ty?"

"Yeah "

" I love you "

"I love you to"

I'm not paying much attention to him. He is kneeling on his right knee holding the black velvet box, inside the box is a stunning diamond ring.

"Will you do the honors and being my lawful wedded wife?"

I turned around, tears rolling down my cheeks, they were not tears of sadness but they were tears of joy. I screamed the words "YES" I jumped into his arms and kissed him passionately on the lips.

***end of dream***

I woke up, I checked the clock 3 AM. Wow that was really early, what time did I fall asleep? I looked over to see Adam was laying down next to me. I was in his arms. I smiled at my future husband..well I hope (hint hint guys)

I stood up. Clearly I knew I was not going back to sleep. I sat down on the couch downstairs. I turned on the TV to the news. Today was the saddest day of most every Americans' life 9/11

This was the day the twin towers were attacked. Along with the Pentagon. I remember being alive then. I was watching the news with my family. Hearing the screams of the people watching them run down the streets away from the falling rubble. Seeing the plane hit the second building. Hearing the screams of dying people. Watching it all go down thousands of miles away.

I felt the same ways probably those people felt too. I was terrified I didn't know what was going to happen and if my area was also going to get attacked. Was a quite a sad day in every Americans' life and I will never forget it I know people from thousands of years later in the future will never forget
