Ghosts in my House!

Kaa and Rhee finally slept in the guest room after fighting for an hour. I am lying on my bed now thinking about life.
I don't know what I did to deserve this. Life is actually harsh maybe. Love just creates a illusion of happy life. I shouldn't have ever depended on him. I rejected the stardom and came here to work as a IT engineer. I always wanted to be independent. But what I never thought was that you have to face your heart breaks also alone. I can't just erase all the memories and move on. I knew this was going to come when his behaviour started to change after stardom. But I still expected loyalty. Maybe, too much to ask for!

3 hours later

I got up from my bed as usual to get a water bottle. It was midnight and everyone was sleeping. I got out of my bedroom in the dark and headed towards the stairs. Counting every step I started to get down in the dark. Suddenly I heard a sound of door creaking. I stopped terrified. 'Must be my door as I kept it open' I thought and started getting down again. Then I heard some footsteps behind me. I was scared now. I immediately switched on the lights as I was already standing near the switch board. Fortunately, there was no one behind me. I might be hallucinating.
I switched off the lights as I was sure that if I keep them on, I won't ever switch them off on my return journey to my bae...bedroom! This is the only time I regret leaving in such a big house.
Somehow I reached the kitchen. Then I heard shuffling voices behind me now. As I searched for the source I saw a shadow on kitchen wall. I was scared as hell now. I started shivering. Cold sweat started running down my body.  As I got the bottle and turned around.....

I saw a white figure!

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" I shrieked.
And fell down.

I heard loud chuckles of Gabe, Rhee and Kaa!
Kaa switched on lights while all three of them were laughing on me.

"Now come on you guys! Give me $100 as I have officially won the bet" said Gabe.

"What?" I shouted in surprise.
"You guys really had a bet on killing me. You lazy old murderers! You'll definitely get 7 years of bad luck for doing this to me."

"Oh honey! We always pull such pranks when we are together" said Kaa giving me a apologetic look.

Yes. We are slightly mad girls, who lose their minds as soon as we see other member of gang. Why was I even scared. I should have known this.

"Oh damn! Did I miss the show again?" said Rhee pulling out the white blanket from herself.

"Yes missy,  you missed it again" Gabe said chuckling.

"Okay, now good night guys. I have office tomorrow" I said yawning.

"Yeah good night we have to leave early tomorrow" Rhee replied on behalf of her and Kaa.

"Good night guys. Sweet dreams and horror dreams to you Nuts" Gabe said chuckling behind me.

That's I went to bed to allow myself enter the beautiful land of rainbows and unicorns.
