Andy's eyes fluttered open as the piercing sunlight slapped him in the face. He squinted his eyes, and sat up from his bed. He went straight to the kitchen, and headed towards his coffee maker. Andy didn't really drink coffee much, but he was craving it this morning. Just as he began to make the coffee, there was a pounding at the front door.

"It's the police, open up!" A stern voice shouted from the other side of the door.

Andy's heart fell to his feet. He had never been caught for one of his killings before. He took a deep breath, and walked towards the front door. He unlocked it, and opened it. 2 police men were standing there, with unpleasant looks.

"Come in," Andy offered the policemen with a smile.

The two policemen stepped in, and Andy closed the door. He walked into the kitchen, and the policemen joined him.

"I was just making coffee, do you gentlemen want any?" Andy offered.

"No. We need to talk about a girl named Maria Carpenter." One of the cops told.

"I've never heard the name in my life." Andy told honestly.

The other officer shook his head, and chuckled slightly. He looked up at Andy, who was taking a sip of his coffee.

"Listen, we don't need you to be playing the whole, 'oh I have no idea  what you're talking about,' card. We saw you with her at the club, and soon after you left, she left. We're assuming she left with you. This morning, we found her body in the lake." The officer explained.

"Oh, the lady with the short hair? I didn't have a chance to ask her name. I had a lot on my mind that night, and so I went to that club. After being there for a few minutes, I decided to leave. I thought it'd clear my mind, but it didn't. Maria thanked me for the money I threw on stage for her. Shortly afterwards, I left and went back to my place, where I fell asleep." Andy lied.

Andy watched as the officers exchanged looks at each other. Almost as if their stares were asking each other if they believed Andy's story.

"Mind if we search your house?" One of the men asked.

"Of course not, I'll show you around." Andy offered.

Andy sat his coffee mug on the counter, and the officers followed him out of the kitchen.  He first walked into his own bedroom, and the policemen searched it. After 10 minutes of searching, they hadn't found anything. Andy lead them towards the bathroom, in which they found nothing. Afterwards, he guided them downstairs to the basement.

"It's almost empty down here." One of the men pointed out.

"I haven't decided what to make the basement out of yet. I was thinking of making it into a lounge type of thing." Andy explained.

Both of the officers nodded their heads at each other,"I think our work here is done. Do you have any further information on the girl?" One of them asked.

          "No, I'm sorry." Andy apologized.

"That's alright, we can let ourselves out." The other officer replied.

Both of the officers walked upstairs, and Andy let out a deep, relieving breath. His heart pounded out of his chest every second those cops were in his house. His phone began to ring, startling him. He pulled it out of his pocket, and answered it.

          "Hello?" He answered.

"Hello, Andy. It's Doctor Violet. I just got a call informing me that they found you a permanent therapist. I will no longer be your therapist." Dr.Violet informed.

"Oh, I kinda liked having you as my therapist.." Andy sighed.

"But, since I'm no longer your therapist, I was thinking about that date you asked me on. Are you free tonight?" She asked.
