So, that is just how everything happened. Lily and Crystal lived in Olympus, Lily visited Princess and Rainbow when she wanted, and never again did they ever go back to Earth. To this day, all unicorns live up in Olympus with Aphrodite, because they didn't dare risk the chance for something like what had happened then to ever happen again. Unicorns do exist, just not on Earth.
