Getting Crazy in Palm Springs

I woke up, today is Friday and I'm off. Thank God. The shop is also closed every other Friday and Saturday. It also doesn't open until 2 Sunday afternoon.

I woke Jamill up, so that I could take him to school.

"Can I just stay home,please"

"No, yo mama gon beat my ass, you aint sick."

"I won't tell,please auntie"

"Nope."

I went into the bathroom to get dressed. I have to drive up to Palm Springs to style hair and makeup for this photoshoot.

Me: finna take my nephew to school,then head to Palm Springs
Lucas: ii, let me ride
Me: ii,txt me yo adress n ima come get u
Lucas: ******, see u later bby

Once I was washed and ready, I walked out, as my nephew came out my closet looking fly.

"Today's the day auntie, I feel it" He said grabbing his phone and books.

"The day for what?" I said laughing a little. I grabbed my bags and we loaded into the car.

"The day I ask hope to be my woman. I can't wait."

"Why do you like her so much"

"Because she fine. She funny,and cute. We get along. And her hands are so soft..."

"Well, don't be trying to be fast if she say yes."

"If she say no, then ima cut her off and start talking to this honey named Melody. She got boobs. Hope doesn't,but I don't care I truly like her"

"Jamill. Isn't melody 16"

"Yea, ima try"

"Jamill,stop joking. Name someone realistic"

"Alright. You know how Hope missed practice a couple days ago...well, I started taking to this girl named Nigeria. She's 13,and she sexy."

"Oh,ok. You bet not be flirting with her. I think hope likes you, and if she found out that you were messing with girls,then she would be heart broken"

"J I got this. Bye" I waved as he ran out the car and over to hope and her friends.

I sped over to Lucas' and he got inside.

Out of nowhere he pecked me on the lips as I watched him get inside. He pulled away and looked at me.

"My bad" He said. I smiled and kissed him

We drove to Palm Springs in silence, mainly because he was glued to his phone.

After a while I politely took his phone and dropped it on my door pocket.

"Talk. You always on yo phone" I said

"My bad ma. What you got goin on down here in Springs?"

"I gotta style some models for a photoshoot. I'm tryna get this money baby!!" I said turning around the corner

"Ooh, get em girl. Anyways tell me about yo family"

"Uh, it's complicated. My mama and I have a good bad relationship. She always wanted me to be like my brother. But I wanted to be me. I liked hair and makeup,but she wanted me to be more into competitive things like cheer or dance."

"I see. What about yo pops"

"Don't know him. And it's sad because whoever gets lucky enough to marry me, I won't have any man figure to walk me down the aisle."
