X. Fragile

Jinyoung's POV

"I've been mentioning to you the girl I've met in Malaysia before Day6's debut, right? It's her, Jinyoung-ah" Jae hyung said. He seemed so happy.

Flashback

"How's your vacation in Malaysia hyung?"

"It's good than ever jinyoung-ah~" Jaehyung sang happily.

"Ah, I can see it in your eyes." Jinyoung teased.

"Would you like to share what made it good than ever hyung?" Jinyoung added smiling.

End of Flashback

Jae hyung had been telling me about about a girl he met in Malaysia before becoming a part of Day6.

I can feel my heart being crumpled as I recalled how Jaehyungie hyung tells his story about her.

I saw Ain's face changed to a worried look.

But I pretended to be okay though deep inside, I'm broken.

End of Jinyoung's POV

"Ey, looks like someone is in deep thoughts." Someone sits beside Jinyoung making him startled holding his chest in surprised and then sighed when he finally realized it was a human.

"It looks like you've seen a ghost" She giggled.

"Not a ghost, but...a monster" He said with a fake disgusted face.

"What???!" She looks mad.

"Just kidding.. just kidding..." He's taking back what he just said with his hands as a defense...just in case.

She just rolled her eyes.

"Aigoo.. You!... when did you arrived?!" Jinyoung came back to reality as he realized everything.

"I just arrived and I didn't tell you guys coz I wanna surprise you. But I did not expect to see you like this anyhow ." She said raising her eyebrow on the last phrase.

"I missed you U-shin~" He hugged her.

*Coughs* *Coughs*

Both of them turned their heads to the direction of that cockblocker.

It's Mark, and behind him is JB.

"Jinyoung, know your limits" Mark said coldly.

JB on the other hand stood there frozen.

"Markeu! Monsterbum!" U-Shin greeted.

"You hate me that much huh? How could you hug Jinyoung while you can't even hug your own brother?" Mark said making a point.

JB shifted his eyes from U-shin to Jinyoung.

He's surprised more than being jealous.

"How's your waist?" U-shin runs to JB's direction checking on him, ignoring her brother.

"I'm getting better" JB answered with a blush on his cheeks from U-shin's action, still stiffened.

Since U-shin arrived, they've set-up a dinner party.

At the party....

While everyone is enjoying the dinner, U-shin noticed that Jinyoung is so quite.

Few minutes later, U-shin found a chance to talk to him privately as Jinyoung left the group.

She followed him to the kitchen.

"Do you know that in my profession the best medicine I can give to my patients is listening?" U-shin spoke from behind. This time in a soft voice to avoid him from being startled again.

He looked at her confused.

"And based on experience, all of them confessed to me after that..." She smiled as he gets more confused.

"Confessing that they feel better after I listened to what their hearts say" She added.

Jinyoung finally gets what she was saying.

U-shin's POV

"U-shin... do you know that Ain is in Korea right now?" He finally spoke.

"Yes. But I haven't met her yet" I answered. So that's it. This is the reason why he is so bothered.

End of U-shin's POV

"I met her. I was so happy when I knew that she's currently in Korea and will be able to finally meet her. I assumed that everything will fall smoothly under me. But I was wrong. I found out that she is the one that Jae hyung likes way back then. And I think she likes him too. I don't know why my heart became so fragile." He talked continously while U-shin's merely listening. When U-shin noticed that Jinyoung has said enough as he stopped, she began speaking again.

"Do you like her?" She asked.

"Uhm.. I'm not sure about my feelings. But when you introduced her to me, I had a feeling where I wanted to see her. Or talk to her often." Jinyoung in a confused tone.

"And you are hurt when you knew about her and Jae, right?" She's trying to figure it out.

"Yes. I guess?" Jinyoung is partially in denial.

"Oh my God! Saying Jae gives me goosebumps. As if I am referring to Monsterbum" She said while rubbing her arms which made Jinyoung look at her in awe, then he laughed.

"You can just say the-guy-who-loves-eyeglasses." He suggested while smiling.

"That's too long. It's waste of words" She rejected.

"It's a matter of choice. You call him with that too-long name or you'll get monsterfied." He's teasing her.

"Fine." She just agreed with it but tried to avoid that name in their conversation.

It's true that she had goosebumps after she said Jae. She could have just ignored it but she wanted to lighten up the intensified conversation.

"I'm not good at giving advices. I'm just good at listening. But believe me when there's someone who listens to you, it is more healing than with someone who just gives advice." She started again.

"I think you like her. That's why you're all like that but you are in denial so it is more difficult for you" She added.

A sudden silence between them.

"Human hearts are naturally fragile. So if you think that you aren't a human, then you could say that your heart is unbreakable." She broke the silence with a serious tone.

"Wait Don't tell me you're an alien!" She overly reacted as she shows a very shock expression leaning closer to Jinyoung's face which made him jolt from his seat.

"Or a cherry that fell from a tree making it fragile?" She continued while pulling herself back to her normal position pretending to imagine how possible it was which made Jinyoung laugh.

She turned her head to the laughing Jinyoung, and when she finds out that it was a genuine laugh, she joined him.

"You're really something" He said still laughing.

"You two are something" Someone from behind walked in making Jinyoung and U-shin looked at him.

It was Youngjae raising and eyebrow. And the both of them walked out from the kitchen trying to hold their laughters leaving the smart-mouthed Youngjae.

Jinyoung sits beside JB opposite to U-shin who is seated beside Mark.

They all continued the dinner and they all enjoyed it.

"Thank you. I feel better" Jinyoung mouthed to U-shin.
