XI. Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but it is also tragically short.

"Hey, what are you reading?" Jaehyung asked Ain who is reading a book.

"Oh you are reading about cherry blossoms" He added.

"Yes." She simply answered.

"You visited Korea just right on time. Cherry Blossom started and will end probably one of this days" Jaehyung stated happily and Ain smiled in return.

"Come, let's go and see Cherry Blossoms" Jae pulled Ain and they headed to where the cherry blossoms are.

"It's so beautiful. More beautiful than in books, and in television" Ain said in awe without noticing Jae watching her.

"The cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life." She mumbled as she remembers what she just read awhile ago but was clearly heard by Jae.

"It is." He looked up to the tree and said it almost whispering.

Jaehyung's POV

I watch her as she is looking beautifuly at the blossom.

"The cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life." I heard her mumbled.

"It is." I wisphered.

"Indeed. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but it is also tragically short." I added.

"Huh?" She seemed surprised.

"I saw it in your book that you were reading awhile ago" I stated.

Yes. When she was reading that book, I was secretly watching her from behind, and to my curiousity, I peeked and read that part.

The statement is absolutely true.

Ain's POV

It's so beautiful~~~~

"Ain, let's take a selca." Jae suddenly said. I'm a bit surprised because it's new to me that he did not ask me either, and it is more of an statement. He usually asks me everytime he wants or needs something. But today is just so strange. Maybe, because we've become closer even for a short time when we started seeing each other.

We then took a selca and we made sure to get the cherry blossom as our background. We look so happy on that picture.

"Ain. I'm gonna get something to eat. Just wait here okay?" Jae said and before I could say anything he's gone already. Aigoo. That kid.

Few minutes has passed, a cup of drink appeared right infront of my face.

"What took you so long" I said as I look up.

"Jin..young??"

He smiled hesitantly.

"What...are you....doing here?"

"I was actually thinking about cherry blossom last night. So I came to see it today." This time he smiled genuinely.

"And how did you know I'm here? Did you coincidentally see me here?" I automaitically asked. i don't know what would I feel. I'm with Jae and he just left for food, and now Jinyoung is here. What if Jinyoung finds out that I'm with Jae. He will get hurt.

"Actually. I saw Jae awhile ago. He said he'll be heading back to the dorm." He said.

"Really?! That guy! He left me here without even saying a word?!" I said with flustered.
