Brooklyn's P.O.V.

The next day, the guys leave and Jane goes with them. I decide to read and stuff so I stay home.

I'm reading and wondering if I should go to my café or not. Then, my phone rings...

"Hello?" I answer.

"Brooklyn, it's Harry."

Hey Harry." I say smiling even though he can't see it.

"Are you free tonight?"

"Yeah, why?" I ask.

"I'm gonna pick you up after the show and we're gonna have a late dinner.... Is that alright?"

"Yeah, when does the show end?"

"Eight-thirty, is that too late?"

"No, that's fine." I say.

"Ok, I'll see you tonight. I'm sorry that it's gonna be late in the evening, but tomorrow we have a very busy day and the day after we have to go to New York."

"It's fine Harry, don't worry. I told you that you didn't have to do this for me."

"Yes I do, and there's no way you're getting out of this."

"Alright, I'll see you tonight." I say.

"You too, I'll have Paul come and pick you up."

"Alright thanks." I say.

I hang up and look out of the window. What time was it anyways?

I looked at my watch, three-thirty.

Opening my book again, I decided to read some more. I really was interested in this book and couldn't really put it down... On top of that, I had another deadline for a review. Tomorrow, I'd have to review the book I was reading and post it.

I go to my café and sit in my booth. I read and read for a long while.

Trying to reach my deadline, I get to the very last chapter.

When I look up, it's dark and I panic, looking at the time.

7:57 P.M.

I gather my stuff and run out the door. I run all the way home. How in the world could I be so stupid?!?! I got my keys out and unlocked the door. Then I ran inside, tossing my stuff on the bed. I went to my closet and got a pair of jean shorts, a grey top with sleeves that come almost to my elbows, and my grey toms.

I leave my hair down and then hear the door ring.

I open it to find Paul. "Harry sent me to get you."

"Thanks Paul." I say.

"No problem." He says.

I go and get into the Black SUV and then Paul takes me to the arena. Fans are leaving the arena and we stuck in a little bit of traffic.

After a few minutes, we reach the back entrance and pick Harry up.

"Sorry, I decided to let Paul pick you up."

"It's fine."

"Alright, now, Paul, you remember where I told you to go right?" Harry asks.

"Yes Harry." Paul says and we leave the arena.

I look at Harry. "Am I underdressed?" I ask.

"Nope, you're just fine." He says.

He smiles at me and I smile back at him.

We end up going to a one of my favorite restaurants, it's a burger place, but to me, it's the best.

We enter and then order.

"So, Brooklyn.... How old are you?"

"I'm twenty." I say.

"Favorite thing to do?"

"Read." I say.

"Really?" He asks surprised.

"Yeah, I read a lot. I'm actually doing some book reviews for a newspaper." I say.

"That's sounds cool. So you like to read and write?"

"Kind of, I'm not really good at writing... I mean like writing a story. I can write a review, but if I were to write a story, there's no telling what would happen."

He laughs. "Ok, lets see how you do with one word answers. I'll ask you questions in which you can only answer with one word...."

"Alright, I'll try my best." I say.

"Are you honest and trustworthy?"

"Yes." I say.

"Tell me one place that you absolutely love to go." He says looking into my eyes.

"Ireland." I say.

"Ok, why Ireland?"

"Do I have to give a one word answer for this one?" I ask.

"No, not this one, I'm interested in why you want to visit Ireland.

"Ok, well, my friend used to live there and has told me a lot of things about it. It sounds so adventurous and cool, I've really wanted to go."

"What's holding you back?" Harry asks.

"Well, I read, a lot, and the newspaper depends on me to write reviews weekly... Sometimes I wonder why I even try to review books anymore.. I mean, I love them, but I can only read so many books! I would like to just read a couple a week or so, not three or four a week." I say.

"Wow! That many a week?"

"I have a lot of time." I say.

"You should really try to mix up your life a bit." He says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Ok, how long have you been doing all of this?"

"Three years." I say.

"You definitely need a break." He says. "Why don't you quit doing the reviews in the paper?"

"I've thought about it, a lot actually, but I don't know. I'm thinking that I'd go mad if I didn't do it." I say.

He smiles at me. "You wouldn't get bored. Trust me. You'd find a lot to do with your time."

I think this over.

"I think, if I were you, since you've been reading nonstop for years, that I'd give reading a break and that I'd take some time for myself. Not like a vacation, but maybe not read a lot or do reviews for a few years."

"Years?!?!"

He laughs at my response. "You should give it a try. You're really missing out on your life. You could be traveling the world, dating, doing fun stuff with Jane. From what she says you don't date a lot."

"No, I don't... I'm not all that interested in dating right now... I'm just so busy, that I don't have time."

"See? Your missing out."

I smile and look down.

"I'd think it over." He says and I look up.

Our food comes and we eat.

It felt good to talk to Harry, he was a good guy and he seemed very nice. He was a gentleman and took me home.

Jane spending another night with Niall. I smiled and looked at Harry as we parted ways.

"Thank you for tonight... I had a really good time." I say.

"It's no problem. Maybe we can hangout some time?"

"I'd like that." I say. "Night."

"Night." Harry says.

I walk into the house and close the door behind me. I was grinning, what was he doing to me? I've never grinned over a guy before.

I shake it off and go into the living room, but I can't shake it off, so the grin on my face stays...
