Chapter 2: The strange meeting

Sonic woke up early in the morning at 5:30a.m. just like the Lord wanted him to. He began to clean the hallways, Amy was cleaning the kitchen. When one of them was finished with cleaning something then they go to the other and tell them what they're going to clean next so the other won't clean it. That's how the day went by. Amy cleaned the kitchen, the dining room and, the rooms in the first floor.

Sonic cleaned the hallways, the living room and, the rooms in the second floor. When they were done the place looked so clean. Sonic decided to take a little coffee break. When he was done he washed his dish and headed to his room to take a nap or sleep.

•Later•

He heard a knock on the door and looked at the time, it was 12:00a.m. in the morning.

He went to sleep at 11:30p.m. in the night. I slept for 30 minutes. Can't I get another 5 minutes at least??!! Well time to find out what's the reason of the late visit. He got out of the comfortable bed and covers and headed to the door to see who it was.

He opened it and saw that it was Amy. "The Lord wants us dressed nice before his children are here. So, get ready. They're almost here," she stated quickly and went off. She didn't even say hello or goodbye.

'I' didn't even get the chance to say anything. Well I guess this is urgent since she was in such a rush. Well time to get ready. He put on his maid outfit that he wore yesterday since it's the nicest maid outfit he has. After he finished he went down stairs to the living room and saw Amy waiting for him.

She grabbed his arm and took him to the kitchen. "The Lord said we need to prepare supper for him and his children. So let's get started. But, what are we going to make???" She said worried and confused. "How about the kitchen with vegetables?" He suggested.

"No you blue rat. You are not going to serve that plane dish to my children. Make them a chicken salad with noddle soup on the side," he commanded. The blue hedgehog made a low growl and turned around and did an annoyed sigh. Amy and him began to make the food.

It took about 30 minutes but they finished. And then they heard the doorbell. Geeee I wonder who that could be, Sonic thought sarcastically. "They're here! One of you two go open the door, now!!" He ordered.

Sonic and Amy looked at each other wondering who's going to do it. "I'll go," Amy said and headed towards the doors. "Meanwhile clean the table. I don't want my children to eat at a dirty table. And 'I' certainly don't want to be embarrassed in front of my children" he hissed and walked off.

Sonic made an annoyed sigh. He grabbed a brown rag from a drawer and started to sweep the table. When he finished he put the rag away and just stood there for a little. All of a sudden felt a hand grab his arm, he turned to see who it is. It was Amy.

"The Lord wants you to go to the living room to introduce you to them," she told him a bit fast and took him to the living room. They made it to the open doors and went into the room. Sonic saw Robotnik in the left side of the living room sitting on one of his chairs looking at the door waiting for them. He turned his head to the right and saw a female hedgehog on the coach. She has yellow fur, blue eyes, she wore a purple dress, she wore purple shoes, and she looked like she was Amy's age (Amy's 15 years old).

Next to her was a black hedgehog with red stripes on his arms and head quills (and legs), he wore; red, black, and white shoes, and he has red ruby eyes, and he looks like he's 17 or 18. They both were sitting straight waiting as well as Robotnik. I'm guessing they are his children, Sonic thought.

"Well, you're here. I already introduced Amy, now I need to introduce you. My children this is Sonic, he's another maid in our home," he told them. The girl looked at Sonic and smiled as in saying 'hello'. The black hedgehog turned to look at Sonic as well, when he did he just raised an eyebrow.

Then he started eyeing him up and down, which made the blue hedgehog uncomfortable. "Hi," he said a bit quiet. He knew Robotnik would do something to him later if he didn't greet them. "My children, each of you will have your own personal maid, one if them. I will chose who goes with who. Amy you will be my daughter Maria's personal maid and Sonic you will be my son Shadow's personal maid," he stated. Shadow smirked in satisfaction after hearing what his father said. "It's time for supper, I'm pretty sure you two are hungry from your long trip here," he told his kids.

They all went to the kitchen were Amy and Sonic served them their food. A few minutes later after their food was finished they all went up stairs to their rooms to sleep (Amy and Sonic had to clean up before, of course). Sonic was walking through the halls upstairs heading to his room. He made it to his door and was about to open until he heard a voice behind him and very close to him. "Hello there," the voice said. He felt a hand lightly go on his waist. He jumped and turned quickly to see who it was. He saw that it was Shadow. Shadow moved his arms away from Sonic and put them up in defence. He chuckled a bit at the others reaction.

"My apologies, I didn't mean to scare you," he said taking a step closer to the other. "I-it's Ok, I just didn't expect anyone to see me right now," he said uncomfortable and nervous. He took a slight step backward and his back hit the door behind him. He attempted to slide to the other side and open the door to escape. It seems the black hedgehog read his mind and placed his hands up on the door near the blue hedgehog's head stopping him from moving.

Sonic stood frozen staring at the other in the eyes with fear. The black hedgehog was staring at him as well. He stood taller and started checking out the blue hedgehog looking at him from head-to-toe. He smirked. He was liking what he was seeing.

The scared blue hedgehog pressed himself against the wall trying to keep away from the other. Dear Chaos, he's creeping me out. What does he plan on doing to me? Why does he keep looking at me so strange? Someone please help!!!!!

"Hey Shadow! I was looking for-" Maria looked at them. "Shadow, what do you think you're doing?" She asked crossing her arms. Shadow stepped away from Sonic, "Nothing Maria. Now, what do yo need?" He asked. Maria looked at Sonic and saw fear in his eyes and decided to help him.

"I came to show you your room. Come on let's go before father gets mad at both of us because of you," she ordered him. "Fine!," Shadow said annoyed.
