Write the Story!

I never get very far in this part. It's usually due to a plethora of things though, rather than just one reason: being "busy"(school, personal problems, laziness), not knowing where to go from where you started off, lack of dedication. Does having a lack of dedication to your own artworks mean you shouldn't even be an artist in the first place? I know that's a stupid question, but I can't help but sometimes question myself like that.

What happens if I'm in a professional environment 20 years from now, and just suddenly lose all interest the thing I'm getting paid to make? The thing I am obligated to remain atleast sort of interested in? If I do recall, a lot of times this ends up in a lost job or a crappy finished product. Or it ends up taking years and years to make, meaning my moments of full attention to the project be decades apart from each other!

Ugh... Writing is far more difficult than it should be.
