"Sir Diego! Wait...I'm going to... You'll... Stop! Ah!!!" Alfonso carried Helena as he ran with her towards the water stream. He crossed the stream using a wobbly bridge, a bobbing log that lay across the two banks.
"I swear, if you drop me I'll...." Alfonso pecked her lips silencing her then Helena tried her best to put up an angry face to threaten Alfonso.
"Come on Ma Donna the water is not that cold and besides... its been a while since we came here," Helena nodded then and getting at the other side of the stream Alfonso dropped Helena in the pond and smirked down at her. Helena sunk in pretending to be hurt and stayed submerged. Alfonso stood at the edge of the brook looking into the water waiting for Helena to come out.
She resurfaced, her face pale and her eyes stone cold with...anger.
"Did you have to drop me in ice cold water?" She tried to get out of the water but Alfonso kept pushing her in, "Okay, I think its only fair if you come in too."
"In there? I'm sorry Helen my beloved wife but I shall not. No."
"You have just spoiled my day... You really have. Okay pass me the red and white rose..." She said pointing at one of the rose bushes. She sat by a rock allowing the waterfall to splash some water on her.
"Here is the flower..." He said handing it to her with its stem.
"Thanks will you put it on my hair..."she leaned towards him as he gently tucked the rose behind her ear, without a warning she pulled him into the water making him fall with a splash which sent her giggling like she was mentally ill. He stood up angrily with his arms folded. He walked towards her with bloodshot eyes and her lower lip started to quiver as laughter threatened to burst out again. His face was terrifying but Helena could not help but laugh at how childish he looked when he was being terrifying.
"After everything I've done for you Helen." He said holding his chest in mock pain. "After I chose a flower for you, picked it up, removed its stem, tuck it behind your ear and this is how you pay me back?" He caught her by the waist and carried her to the water fall. He helped her as they got behind the waterfall to its cave. He lit the place up with torches on the walls.
"Why are we here?" Helena asked looking around the place.
"Happy two years anniversary... And the other reason we are here is because he misses you. And...you dropped me in water anyway," She smiled at him and he started kissing her, dwelling much on her lower lip, nibbling it and planting pecks all over her face.
"I miss him more," she said tugging on his shirt and he was quick to cast it aside.
She slipped off her dress, he got of his jeans and pecked her on the lips, "now let's go!!"
They both ran into the cave giggling.
"How did you find this place?" Helena asked next to Alfonso her breasts pressing onto his chest as Alfonso's hand held the small of her back.
"During one of my swims...when you..." He kissed her lips, "...were not around. What do you think of it?"
"Its wonderful."
"So, I know it's late but I was just wondering if you want to have a nicer wedding. With nicer vows and a more real kiss? We could do it at the chapel, with your parents and some few acquaintances? So how does that sound?" Alfonso asked nervously.
"That sounds like a proposal. And yes I want to. Maybe you Sir Diego would promise something nicer rather than to promise to promise." Alfonso chuckled but Helena laughed out.
"And maybe you Lady Diego would do what we want not the what the Guardians of the marriage want."
"I was nervous, you can not use that against me."
"I can because I loved those vows... and you."
"I love you and we should do that wedding you were talking about. Me and you on the isle."
"Now this is a bit of a stretch but can we...may we adopt? A few kids at least? You'll choose,"
"Sure. Yeah I want kids and may we please get an African? Please....please...please?"
"Sure yeah definitely. Father has a company in Africa so yeah. We will visit there too-"
And they did adopt. The seven Alfonso had seen at the hospital then all was well after that.
