In Another World

Chapter One

"Enjoy your coffee mam," I smiled at my costumer as she walk through her seat.

"Sam, lets call it a day" says Becca, the manager of this shop.

I thanked her while ripping off my apron and passed to the newly accepted cashier girl. I went directly to the café's parking lot and grabbed my bicycle and rode on it.

My school is just few blocks away from the coffee shop that I currently working on it.

I'm still eighteen by the way. It is truly rare to see a teenager working for the sake of her self.

My mother abandoned us when I was still a toddler. My father died after we were abandoned by my mother but his body was not yet found. Im still hopibg to see him again. And now, my only family is my Grandmother from my father's side.

Reminiscing that again makes my heart shatter in pieces.

Goodness gracious! I almost got killed! Well, overthinking really kill people.

I didn't notice that I've arrived at my school. Frankly, I hate being in school. Bullies and judgemental people are mostly located here. They usually bully the smart and hardworking students.

I quickly went to my locker to change my books and notebooks.

"Hey Sam? How's your momma?! Is she doing fine at home?" Nancy Hood, the bully slash slut slash bitch slash the queen bee in our school. I just ignore her and her squad everytime we meet.

"How can you be so forgetful Nancy? Her mother left her since she was a child. How pity!" Nancy's slave, Carly Rivers.

"Ohh.. Sam must be very upset to her mother. Wheres your father Sam?" Winona Dev, another slave of the Great Nancy. I was surrounded with these useless people. I tried to walk out from them but they blocked me.

"Oh my god Winona! You dont know? Her brainless stupid father died beca-"

"Watch your words Carly before I.."

"Before what Sam?" She glared at me.

"Before I could lay my hands on your neck and wring it without pain until you breathes no more" I know she was startled but she refuses to show.

I tried to walk again but Nancy blocked me.

"Tough enough? Let's just fight" She raised her left eyebrow and gave me a deadly glare.

"Sorry but I wont let my special karate skills exposed by someone who isnt worth showing for" I smirked at her. She kept on sending me deadly glares.

"If you keep on thinking that youre the Queen Bee of this school, stop thinking. Being a Queen Bee should be an outstanding student," She gasped at me. I walked away for the second time. This time, she didnt blocked me. I heard students cheering at me and proclaiming me as the new queen bee.

Did I ever mention that I was once a bully? Lol. I saw someone running towards to me.

"Kudos to you Sam!" Alec Hood. Nancy's twin brother. My guy bestfriend.

"Whatever. I just cant take the nerve of your twin. Tell her to have good grades first before bullying an outstanding student" I told him. Yeah. I kinda proud of having a good grades.

"Whatever Queen Sam"

I just rolled my eyes. He's so different to his twin sister. He's also an outstanding student and the Vice Governor of this school.

We went directly to our designated classroom. I forgot that we have an assignment on this subject. I was busy studying chemistry last night. I managed to do my missed assignment on time. Its just a piece of cake though.
