"Yes now shut up" Dannie continued

All I did was ask a question. As Dannie talk her slick, curly hair rubbed against her shoulders. Gods she was beautiful.

Ugh! Why can't I get that thought out of my mind. she was  annoying one minute then she's beautiful. come on focus on the annoying parts.

I can't sleep. That girl is on my mind ever since she fell on me. I fell asleep tho.

Dannie pov

Danielle come . A voice called from forest. But I'm asleep, right?

Dannielle.

There it was again. I look down at the ground and notice my friends are gone." Guys where are you?" I called into the dark, gloomy forest.

Then my mother appeared out of no where. my mom and I could be twins except I have brown eyes and she has hazel."mom?"

"Yes Danielle it is I, your mother."

I couldn't hold back. I ran up and hugged her.

"But how are you here? Where are my friends?" I pulled away from my mother's sweet hug.

"Do not worry your friends are asleep but we are in the astral plain. A plain for ghosts."

So they were okay. That's good to know.

"I need to talk to,you about your powers. not only the ones you got from your father but also the ones you got from me."
Wait what. The powers I got from my mom?

"What powers did I get from you?"

"I will not tell you now but just know your royaly  important" she smiled as If she made a joke.

"Right now I want to talk you about your shadow powers."

"Shadow powers? But shouldn't I have the power over death like nico?" I ask confused.

"Your sister,hazel, doesn't have power over the dead. She has power over riches. Your other sister before she died she had the same power as you. Power of the shadows."

"Okay, but what can I do with them?"

"You  will find out in time"with that she disapered.
