Harry's POV
I saw something. I don't know what it was, but it drew me towards it. I hesitantly left Draco, telling myself that he'd be okay with Hermione. I followed the feeling in my gut, winding up in a dark hallway. "Hello, Harry." Luna said, leaning against the wall. I waved to her, "What're you doing over here, Luna?" I asked, walking over to where she was.
"I wanted to tell you something. It's imperative information." She said, looking me in the eyes. I nodded, "Well, what is it?" I asked, wanting to get back to Draco. "He's using you."
"What?" I asked, getting irritated.
"He's using you. He doesn't love you. Haven't you noticed? He never denied that he loved Pansy, he just told you that she lied and you should trust him more. He only told you he was gay when you started having feelings for him. He was teasing you, leading you along. Haven't you noticed that Blaise and Pansy didn't try to take advantage of him until you were around? He's lying, he's using you. You need to push him away before he hurts you and takes the most important things from you."
I scowled. She has to be lying. I loved him. I love him. He said he loves me back. "I know it's probably hard for you to believe me, but you have to, Harry. You can't be so ignorant, you'll end up dying." She whispered, walking out of the hallway. I stood there, thinking. What she said made sense. I needed time to think
Anger bloomed in my heart. Anger towards Draco.
....
I stormed into the Great Hall, walking right up to Draco. He looked up at me, "Harry, are you okay?" he asked. I shook my head and took a deep breath, not wanting to explode. I had to do this quickly, if I didn't do it now, I'd probably never do it. "Draco, I need you to leave. I can't be around you anymore. Please, go away. And don't ever try to talk to me again." I whispered, pointing to the door. His face fell.
"W-what? Harry, why? What's happened?" He said, tears welling up in his eyes. My heart hurt for him, but it was for the best. I shook my head and pointed to the door again. He stood up and left, not glancing back to me. I watched him leave, my heart slowly breaking. He was using me. I could tell. Normal Draco wouldn't have left without a fight.
"Harry! What was that for? He loves you. Go apologize right now. What's gotten into you?" Hermione hissed, hitting my arm as I sat down. I shook my head and stared at my plate. What have I done?
(Not a character's POV)
Five days. Five days of Harry constantly trying to convince his friends (and himself) that Draco had betrayed them and that he had been using them. Five days of his friends trying to convince him to go apologize. Five days of Draco's absence. Five days with him hiding away, seen by no one.
Harry sat down in the Gryffindor Common Room, across from Hermione and Ron who were cuddling in front of the fire.
His stomach was hurting, he felt like throwing up the little food he had eaten. He stared at his hands, clenching them into fists and then releasing. He thought of their kiss and how they had been holding hands. He thought of Draco's long, slender fingers and his soft, pale skin. His heart plummeted. He hated it. He hated him. His hatred towards Draco continued to grow, growing nonstop for every second that they were apart.
"Harry, are you positive that his intentions weren't for the better? I genuinely thought that he was in pain and he loved you. He hasn't eaten in five days, you need to do something." Hermione said, noticing Harry looking distressed. Harry tensed and brought himself to look at his friend. He shook his head, "Stop trying to get me to talk to him. It was all pretty obvious, if you think about it." He scoffed.
