Break had finally come and mikasa was glad as she packed her stuff to go meet eren and armin. She texted them asking where they were.
{M}Hey so where are you guys?
{A}We're at the cafeteria, where are you?
{M}Just barely came out of class
{E}Weren't you supposed to be out 10 minutes ago?
{M}yeah but the professor held us back.
{E}Why?
{M}because we needed to finish an essay
{A}oh alright then we'll be waiting for you
{M}thanks guys ill see you soon
{A&E}see ya :)
She headed out towards her destination but as she passed by the pond, the feeling came back again which made her stop in her tracks.
She looked around in case there was someone this time but just like the first time she saw no one. This made her frustrated and made her think that it was a stalker that was out there. So she decided to confront the problem and face whoever was out there.
As she was walking towards the source something popped out which pounced on her and made her fall to the ground.
"What the.." she saw a black cat sitting on top of her looking at her directly in the eyes.
She narrowed her eyes and stared back at it.
After a minute of staring she chuckled. "So i guess your the culprit"
The cat meowed back. She rubbed the fuzzy ears which made the cat purr and nuzzle her hand.
"I wonder who's your owner" the cat could only meow back.
She sighed and stood up from the ground. "well off you go now" she let the cat go and walked to the cafeteria. However, she heard a meow and looked behind her.
"so your gonna follow me then huh?" The cat meowed back as if saying yes.
She picked it up and carried it with her. Once she arrived she left the cat by the bush and told the cat she'd come back.
When she entered the cafeteria, she saw where they were sitting at and headed to where they were.
"Hey guys" she sat next to eren
"Hey you finally arrived" eren said.
"Yeah sorry if i took long"
"Its alright, so how have your classes been?" Armin said.
"There alright, at least its easier than in high school"
"no it isn't" eren piped up.
"Yes it is".
"Maybe for you guys it is cause your smarter than me." Eren then took a bite of his sandwich.
"It has nothing to do with being smart eren"armin replied back while drinking his iced tea.
"meh to me its the same thing" eren shrugged. Armin and mikasa both rolled their eyes.
She then remembered what she wanted to say.
"guys while looking for my classes, there was a pond that i passed by and i was wondering if you guys wanted to hang out there during break".
"I don't mind"
"Count me in"
"great you guys want to go now then?"
"Yeah let's go"
They all left the cafeteria and mikasa remembered about the cat she left by the bush. She went to go get it and luckily it was still there sleeping. She smiled and carried it with her. Eren and armin noticed the little bundle in her arms.
"Where did you find the cat mika?" Eren asked
" It popped out in front of me while i was looking for you guys". She said
"Does it have an owner?"armin asked, petting the cat.
"Doesn't seem like it"she sighed.
"Why don't we just take it with us then?"eren suggested.
"hmm i guess we can. You guys don't mind at all?"
"No why would we?, besides he seems to be very friendly" eren said as he too began to pet the cat.
Mikasa smiled at them. "thanks guys, i actually thought you guys might have said something else" she said sheepishly. They looked at her and chuckled. "you know you can tell us anything i mean we are best friends after all". eren said putting an arm around her shoulder. Armin then did the same thing, "He's right mika, if you need to say something tell us" he said, giving her shoulder a squeeze.
She couldn't help but grin at them knowing the fact that she was so lucky to have them. "Thanks guys". Both boys smiled at her. She looked at the cat in her arms and nuzzled his head. "well...let's start heading there now then shall we" They nodded their heads and began to head to the pond.
