The One that Got Away ~ Levi Miller fanfic

Levi walks over and I try not to leave my mouth open too wide. My goodness, he looks good. Be quiet Kaiya, I tell myself, you're here for fun reasons, not romantic ones. Levi just has this pep in his step that makes him look ADORABLE and it almost looks like he is excited to be here with me and Rachel.

"Hey Girls!" Levi says, with his usual little grin.

"Hi!" I say and soon after so does Rachel.

"So.. where do you guys want to go? There's so many stores!" Levi says as he looks around the area with pure admiration in his eyes.

"I honestly don't care," Rachel says with a small shrug.

"Levi, haven't you ever been to a mall? This somewhat like one," I ask wondering to myself, wow has he never been to a mall before? To be honest that's sad, feeling some sympathy for Levi.

"No actually, my sisters never took me, and I never had the time. Anyways, while we're right here, why don't we act like three year olds and go inside the Disney store!" Levi says

"Yes!!" Me and Rachel say in sinc. We look at each other and giggle. Out of the corner of my eye, I think I see Levi looking at us like he's our mother and were his kids. That like proud kinda look, like happy to be here. (A/N you know what I mean?)

We walk into Disney and I realize how long its been since I was in one of these stores. I think the last time I was in here was when I was 8, and I needed a Cinderella costume for Halloween. It's nice being in here, it's like half of my childhood took place in this Disney Store.

"Hey, I dare you both to ask to try on Princess costumes, and then say that they look too old on you to the same worker so you didn't buy them." Levi says with this handsome mischievous look on his face.

"Dare accepted!" I say

Rachel nods and the two of us start walking towards a costume area of the store. I look through the racks and tell myself that I don't want to buy like a dumb Frozen one, (no offense Frozen lovers) I want to buy a classic princess. I look for another minute or so, and come across a cute Cinderella dress. Rachel walks over with this little-girl Belle dress in her arms. Levi watches with entertainment as we walk up to an employee.

"Umm, sir? Could we have a changing room to try these on with?" Rachel politely asks the worker. He chokes down a laugh before he replies with a weird sounding 'Yes'.

We walk into the dressing room and just stand there for a minute and then walk back out. The same guy is still there and I ask:

"Hey, these look to old on us, could you please put them back for us?" He nods and walks away laughing. How do I know? I could hear it.

Levi walks over with a look of disappointment on his face.

"I'm so sorry girls, but my agent just texted me, and he said that we have some things to discuss back at the hotel." He looks down at his feet, he feels so bad, awe.

"Hey it's ok! It's not like we can't meet up again, right?" Rachel says in attempt to cheer Levi up.

"Yeah you're right! Maybe some other day. Here let's take a picture so we can remember tonight!" Levi says as he holds up his phone selfie style. We take the picture and he leaves but says goodbye. He also gave me and Rachel hugs! It felt so safe in his arms. I hope I get to experience that again.

We get a cab and start driving home.

As I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed, I see the selfie Me, Levi, and Rachel took, posted by Levi.
