Wow. We really sent it. The minute that text sent, I panicked. What if he takes it wrong? Will he hate me forever? What if he sent the box to the wrong person? What if I'm totally screwing my self for a chance at anything? This all occurred to me in my head and I was walking around my room in fast circles.
"KAIYA. CALM THE **** DOWN." Rachel says as she grabs my shoulders with a lot more force than I thought she had in her.
" ITS GONNA BE OK. HES NOT GONNA HATE YOU." At this point I was now laying on my floor, staring at the ceiling with no hope left for me.
"But Rachel, what if he didn't want me to respond to him? What if he's embarrassed to like me? What if.."
"Just stop. Please." Rachel says. I can hear the pain in her voice and I realize how much of a jerk I'm being right now.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. I was just panicking and.. and" and I sit up from on the floor and look and her. I stand up and hug my best friend.
"I really do need you more than I need him." And we just hug it out. Cause that's what best friends do. And I'd take her over a boy any day. Even if it's Levi Zane (totally hot) Miller.
