Close your eyes and picture this…

    You’re leaning against the tall willow tree in the yard. It’s 4 in the evening and you’re looking at the farm. You see the cows, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, and the dogs. You start thinking of the first time… Here’s how it went…
You were standing where you are now… Looking at the same things. It happened exactly three years ago to that day. You were watching the cows and animals when all of a sudden you hear screaming from the house… It’s your wife (better be me!). She’s screaming for you to get her to the hospital. She yelled and told you her water broke and the baby’s coming!
You get her to the 1975 Ford F150. You’re about half hour from the hospital. You promised her you would never speed no matter what, so you don’t speed. You’re telling her to take slow deep breaths, but she tells you to shut up, like always. So you shut up, then she tells you “If you love me you’ll talk.”  You both laugh because she can never make up her mind. She grabs your shirt and pulls because the pain is almost unbearable. You’re almost to the hospital so you tell her to hold on for just a few more minutes.  
You get to the hospital and the doctors rush you both to a room. The baby is coming. It’s crowning. You’re standing by her side and letting you squeeze your hand has hard as she possibly can. You’re in tears, just as she is. Finally her hand drops. You look at her panicked and worried. Her eyes are closed… You say her name. She doesn’t answer. You say it again. She tells you to shut up. The worry goes away. You ask why. She doesn’t answer. She finally says “That’s why.” You look confused then you hear the baby crying his lungs out. You and her both start crying harder. Holding and looking at your new baby. You both vow to never ever let anything happen to him.
You both have never been happier. You are both young parents. Got married at 17. Baby at 19. You both look at each other… You both know that’s the life you want. That’s the love of your life holding your baby. You both smile…
You snap out of the memory because you hear screaming. This time, not from your wife (MEEEEEEE), but from your son and the family members that have showed up to his third birthday party. You go in to see what’s going on. That was a mistake. Only a mistake for a second though. Only a mistake until you get a water gun to. The kids were squirting you with water. It was kids against adults. So far, everyone is drenched. The kids are winning… For now…  You and I bring out the big guns… We lead the adults to victory!

Baby, stay strong! Keep you chin up!! We will have this life someday!! I love you soooo much! I love you more than there are stars in the night sky. I can’t live without you! I can’t lose you! I love you!! Forever and ever, amen! <3 You’re my everything. My best friend. My one and only. Until the end of time. You’re my partner in crime. I’m Bonnie, and you’re Clyde. We’re all we need. Plus God!! NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER NEVER
