After that heartwarming moment they went back to searching for Fuu's twin brothers. All the present jinchuriki closed their eyes and felt for their similar energies. 'This feeling....it's very blurred but it's there ', Fuu thought as she sent her energy out even further. ;I-I think....that this feeling is Gaara! I have to tell them!'

Then all of a sudden Fuu had an immense pain in her head. It was unbearable! She screamed, surprising the others. "Fuu!! What's wrong? Tell me!" "My....head....hurts...can't....take much....more!", Fuu said between sobs. Tsunade rushed over to the young jinchuriki, determined to help the girl. The girl was still sobbing loudly.

Then all the jinchuriki froze and everything went silent. One by one, the jinchuriki fell to the floor unconscious. "Wha-what is going on!?", Tsunade asked. Then Yugito started to wake up. As did the others. "Yugito, do you know what just happened?" "I...I think so.."

"Do you know why Fuu was sobbing?" "The recoil...from the...amount of chakara..we sent out...Fuu will tell me what happened when she wakes up."

"I-i'm a-awake...", Fuu said. "Good..tell me, do you know what caused the recoil?" "I ..think so...", Fuu shifted nervously. "Well?", Tsunade asked. "Umm....I-I think....I......", she murmured something under her breath. "What was that? Speak up.", Tsunade said. Fuu took a deep breath. "I said....I think t-that I-I....found Gaara " "Really!!", Yugito exc. Fuu shook her head yes. "R-right before the recoil hit."

"Say.. what is this recoil anyway?", Sakura asked. "Its tiny yet massive amounts of chakara sent out in undetectable waves that quickly bounce back to the user or users and temporarily stun them.", Tsunade said. "Thats what happened with us." Sakura looked like she still didn't understand. Then Yugito said," *sigh* Think of it like thjs. A group of people get together and send tons of tiny, powerful waves of chakara to scout the area. The waves of chakara bounce off things and get sent back to the group so fast it feels like they were sucker punched in the face. Understand now?"

"Yes, thanks." Yugito turned back to Fuu, who had moved to be by Utakata. "You said you found Gaara, where is he?" "He is past the desert, in the mountains. I couldn't really get a good picture with everything interfering." "That's alright."

"Uta-nii?!", Fuu squeaked in surprise when Utakata picked her up and sat her in his lap. He started blowing bubbles with his pipe and let her play with them. It was truly an adorable sight and it also seamed to calm her down. "Better now hime??", he asked with a smile playing on his lips. "Mmh" "Good, now try to remember now." "Ok." She closed her eyes, trying to remember.

"It was pretty faint, meaning its far but not too far. I...I could...somehow feel what Gaara was experiencing. It was really humid and there was a lake nearby. There was also this glare from the light, like I was looking through glass or a window. And there was this rocking motion that was kinda making me dizzy. That's all I remember."

"That is more than enough Fuu. You did very well.", Yagura said as he ruffled her hair. She scowled cutely as she was fixing her hair. "Do you think we should send out a team to go get him?", Meigumi asked. "No, yo we can't go, not even Yugito. The recoil hit really hard, we be as dangerous as a flimsy card. No other teams should go, cause they'd be too slow, konoyaro, bakayaro.", Bee..said, trying to rap again. "Bee, now is not the time...", Yugito warned. "Hai...."

"Besides, a little someone has earned herself a little nap.", she said, smiling at Fuu. "Aww...but I'm not tired.", she pouted cutely. "Too bad, the recoil effected all of us so we need to recover our strength. What better way than sleep?"

"No!", Fuu jumped up before Utakata could grab her, but it seemed like she couldn't get far with all the jinchuriki getting ready for an exhausting chase. "Here we go again...", Mei and Oonoki said at the same time. They glared at each other for their unintentional twin moment. Fuu jumped up on the table and her wings came out.

"Shit! Get her before she flies!", Yugito says. Yagura runs to catch her with his Bo staff. He fails. "Ha!", Fuu giggles, "You'll never catch me!" "We'll see about that hime!", Uta exclaims.

He blows into his pipe and bubbles come out. Fuu takes off laughing. She dodges the bubbles but fails to see Uta behind her. She squeaked in surprise when Uta picked her up from behind. "Aww...you caught me.", she said as she giggled. "To bed with you." Uta declared. "But I'm not tired!", she said with a pout. "Really...I'm not....tired.......", she trailed off as her eyes fluttered closed. Uta smiled in victory. "How do you do that? Not even I can get her to go to sleep that fast ", Yugito exclaims. "That, my dear mother, is a secret ", he says while smiling. "Why don't we retire for the night as well?", Meigumi suggests.

The next morning they all left before sunrise. "Fuu, do you remember where his location is?", Yagura asks. "Yes, this way.", she said as she took point. "Hurry, we don't have much time!"

~with Gaara~
I woke up with a queasy feeling in my stomach. 'They still have me in the water? They also have me chained up it seems.' "Hey look the demon is awake! Why don't we show in a little surprise!!", a grizzly man said.

Then two other men brought out a little girl no older than him. She had honey brown eyes and raven black hair down to her waist. "Karumi!"

The men laughed as he tried desperately to escape the glass box. Then they brought the box up from the water and locked it in place on the little island. He was helpless to do anything as he watched the men beat Karumi.

Then they started to tear off her clothes. "No!! Stop it!!", he screamed, pounding on the glass to break it. The men took off their pants and raped poor Karumi. She had been his first crush and love. She had loved him back. They continued to cut her with kuni as they raped her.

They stabbed her, cut her, pinned her arms down with kuni, broke her legs as they pounded into her. "No! NO! stop....please stop!!", he pleaded. Then he sensed his sister Fuu, and a few others like her. There, in the corner of the room, he saw her. She was breathing heavily.

Then Karumi screamed the loudest of all times. He looked back and choked when he saw a huge jagged dull knife cutting into her middle, sawing her in half. "KARUMI!!! NOOOOO!!!!" Then it reached her spine.....she died.

Everything stopped. It was as if the whole world was holding its breath.

Then....it exploded.

The glass shattered.

Sand swirled around him like a hurricane.

The men were blown back. The sand crawled up their bodies and crushed their bones, killing them instantly.

Everything went wild.

His hands turned to claws, his ears pointed, a tail waving behind him, canines longer than ever, eyes as gold as the sunset surrounded by empty void.
"GAARA!!!", Fuu yelled, flying into the sand storm. "No Fuu, stop! Its too dangerous!", Yugito yelled. "Let her go, Yugito. She needs to help him, konoyaro, bakayaro.", Bee said. "Gaara, calm down. Its ok!", she struggled to reach him. When she did, she flung herself at him. She hugged him tightly, not letting go. "Gaara please! Its ok! They're gone! Your safe now! Please calm down!"

Eventually, the storm calmed down, and he went back to normal. Soft, seafoam green eyes shone with unshed tears. 'Fuu....", his voice cracked. "We will bury her body. You need to say goodbye.", she exclaimed softly, looking at Karumi's bloody body. He completely broke down after that. He grasped her shirt like it was his lifeline, in fact it was, to hold onto his sanity. He cried himself to sleep.

"Uta-nii...", Fuu's eyes sparkled with tears of her own. Uta hugged them both. He put Fuu on his back, who cried softly into his kimono, and carried Gaara bridal style. They quickly returned to the summit. When the kage saw the jinchuriki, they were about to ask what happened when they saw Uta with Fuu, and another boy with red hair who they assumed was Gaara, the 1-tailed jinchuriki.

Yugito shook her head at them to keep them quite. They went into their rooms silently. "Its late and the trip was surly tiring, so lets leave them be and resume tomorrow morning.", Tsunade said. "Agreed ", the kage said. And with that, the kage retired to bed, thinking of what could have affected the jinchuriki so drastically.
