I felt tears flooding down my face as I glared at the picture of Elena and I. We were so happy, and now it's all taken away. I wish I had a normal life of a 23 year old. But that's obviously not what I get. With Caroline gone to Dallas to support her family- Alaric and the twins, Jeremy gone away, Enzo spotted here and there, and Stefan running from Raena Cruse, the only person I have really is Damon. Damon Salvatore- professional at pissing people off, selfish sometimes, kindhearted...most of the time, and humorous. He's really my best friend. But I miss my old real best friend, who will come to life when I am dead. Pretty great.
I wiped my tears away and set the picture frame back on the rustic, deep brown dresser. I'm not giving up on you Elena, I thought. I headed down to the door of my apartment, when I heard a foot tapping just outside my door. Who was it? Am I in trouble? Okay, Bonnie you have to relax. You're just being extremely paranoid, I told myself mentally. I took a few steps and reached to open the door when....
"Hey Bon Bon. What's up with that face? You look like your puppy died. Oh wait, you don't have a puppy," said Damon. "Ha ha ha, so funny I forgot to laugh. I was actually planning on buying a puppy soon. I'm sure he'll like you." I said. "Well, you better make sure Stefan doesn't get the dog first." Now that Stefan had gone off his human blood diet and retrieved back to the animal blood, Damon often made jokes about him. Brother goals?
"Okay Bonnie. Let's cut the crap and get started to the witchy stuff." He walked in to the apartment and took a seat on the couch. He lay the map of the place where Elena was, resting in her casket. It had been 3 months since she was gone, and I have been trying since then to break the spell Kai put on us. On top of the map, he lay one of Elena's favorite necklaces. "I was looking through some of my grandmothers old spells and found a few that seemed potential. I'm ready to try all of them," I said.
