"So I've called this meeting because Laurence is missing." I called out.
"Last time the Nether was calling him, are you sure it's not that?" Someone in the audience called out. I was back in Phoenix Drop, and the voice seemed oddly familiar.
It came from a guard.
"Yes, but we are certain that Laurence has not gone back to the Nether." I called back.
"We are sending out a search warrant for him. If you see him, report to us immediately." Vylad called out.
"Meeting dismissed." I said.
As Vylad and I walked off the podium, Kawaii-Chan came up to us.
"Hi Aphmau-Senpai! Hi Vylad-kun!" She said cheerfully.
"Hey Kawaii-Chan. What's up?" I asked.
"Laurence-kun came by the other day."
"What?!" Vylad and I said in unison.
"He said he was getting supplies for the Alliance." Kawaii-Chan looked confused. Reality came to her as her face changed from confusion, to anger.
"Laurence-kun lied to Kawaii-Chan?!" She said, her voice full of rage.
"Yes?" I said and backed away slowly.
"Okay! Kawaii-Chan knew anyway! He has a tell!" Kawaii-Chan's voice was full of happiness again.
I looked at Vylad and he just shrugged.
Laurence can't be far now...
