Nothing is The Same

Ruby

Weiss, Blake, and Yang brought me back to our dorm. But everything looked a little different. The blankets were blue."Uh, what happened? " I ask."What do you mean, sis?" Yang asked with as real a smile as possible."Wasn't there more...red in here before?"

"No." The three of them answered at once."There was more red in here before. I know there was."

"Sis, I think you need more rest." Yang put a hand on my shoulder. I moved my shoulder and walked up to my bed, jumping on it and looking at the blue blanket. I know this used to be red. I thought.

"Hey, Ruby. We've got some friend who'd like to see you." Weiss said, getting my attention. I jumped down from my bed and walked up to team JNPR."Hey, Ruby." Jaune greeted me with a smile."Hey, Jaune. How have you guys been?" I ask. Suddenly, Nora runs up to me and drops to her knees."Ruby, I've been so worried about you! Dont you ever scare me looks that again, I thought something terrible had happen to you!!" She cried, hugging my waist.

"Nora, there's no need to cry. Ruby is fine." Ren spoke, giving me a smile. I smiled back and then Phyrra approached me with....blond hair.

"Hello, Ruby." She smiled. But I couldn't tell her smile wasn't as real as it looked."Um, Phyrra? You hair."

"What about it?" She asked."Its...blond. Wasn't it red?"

"What do you mean?"

"No! What do you mean?!" I exclaimed and her eyes widened in surprise. I sighed."I'm sorry. Maybe I do need more rest. But I'm not sleepy so I'm gonna go for a walk." I excused myself, walking past everyone and out the door.

Weiss

"What was that about?" Nora asked. I went and sat on my bed, hanging my head."Weiss? You alright?" Blake asked, sitting next to me."No." I admit."Weiss, dont worry about Ruby. She's gonna be fine. I know she will." Yang said."Dont act like you're not worried too." I shot to Yang.

"You're right, I am worried. But she's my sister and I know she's gonna be fine. If I you, you should believe it. She's been through worse."

"What exactly is worse than being partially possessed by a creature of the Grimm?" Blake asks. Yang sighs and rolls her eyes."My point is, none of you have to worry. Ruby's gonna be back to normal in no time. I'm sure of it."

Ruby

Walking through the halls, hearing nothing but the pitter patter of my bare feet against the hard, marble floor. I made my way out the front entrance and to the courtyard, walking the path to sit on the cliff. Looking down below, I saw the Emerald Forest and saw monsters roaming around.

"If I had Crescent Rose, I'd sit up here and shoot them with my sniper." I said to myself.

"Although that wouldn't do much, would it?" Asked a female voice. I whipped my head around and swiftly brought myself to my feet. Suddenly, there was a huge dark cloud over the school that covered the building in shadow. It was pitch black and I couldn't see it. There were flames on the grounds all over the courtyard.

A figure in a red dress with fire in her palm came out of the wall of shadow and walked up to me. I only saw her left eye cause her other eye was covered by her hair. She had a smirk on her face from what I could see.
