Being born with the first words your true love says to you was weird. But it was something that happened to everyone. On this day, a certain Miss Annabeth Chase was walking into the gates of Albert Einstein High School. She had a boyfriend. He was just a thing, though. Like, not her soulmate. A fling, more like. So, this boyfriend of hers met up with her at the front gates.
"Hey, Luke."
"Hello, darling."
A thing I may have forgotten to mention is that Luke was 98 percent player and 2 percent heart. So the fear of him cheating on her was...a lot.
"Annie, please come to the party with me tonight?"
"NO, Luke. I've that essay to finish."
"Damn that essay! You can give it in by NEXT to NEXT Monday! Don't be a McGias, Annie!"
Miloy McGias was THE nerd. And Annabeth didn't like being called a nerd. Effing stereotypes. She sighed.
"Fine. But only for three hours."
"Yay!"
"Luke?"
"I've gotta go. But...see you at lunch?"
"Sure!"
Annabeth completed her task for the day in Bio, and started chatting with her best friends.
"Guys, what shall we wear to the party?"
"We'll figure it out. Makeover at Annabeth's?" Thalia put down.
"I'm up. Frank can pick me up from there." Hazel confirmed.
"Jason can pick me up from there too!" Piper exclaimed.
"And Neeks will HAVE to pick me up from there. I've got the upper hand in our relationship." Thalia joked.
"Leo will have to manage." Calypso laughed.
See, these boys were her friends' soulmates. Like SOULMATES soulmates. But she hadn't found hers.
At exactly eight P.M, the girls were looking hot and ready.
Annabeth was wearing a tight blue dress that came till her knees and defined her curves.
Thalia wore a denim bikini and a tight, short black skirt.
Piper wore a pink crop top that said 'Sexy and I Know It' written on top and jeans.
Hazel had put on a black jumpsuit with sheer full sleeves and her name embroidered on it on her left shoulder sleeve.
Calypso had put on a red dress, extremely tight and glittery.
Yup, they were ready all right. Now all they had to do was wait.

Sandwich, anyone?
*After the door bell rings and the door is opened and greetings are exchanged and the boys gawp at the girls and all that shit (basically, skip to the party)*

Annabeth had been running around searching for Luke for the past three minutes. It had been four hours. Annabeth was drunk, wild and tired and she just wanted to go home. Fortunately, she found Luke! Unfortunately, he was sucking another girl's face off. And groping her. And I think there was a little under-the-shirt going on. And the worst part was that Luke wasn't drunk. Because he didn't drink after his dad died of alcohol poisoning. (A/N - Is this a thing?)

Annabeth ran. She ran, and ran, and ran...until she bumped into someone. A guy from one of her summer camps, it was.
"Excuse me, miss? You're Annabeth Chase, right? I saw you at Globetrotters. I could never forget this pretty face."
Annabeth stared down at her arm. This was him. THE him. Her soulmate. And not a bad catch either.
"D'you wanna date?" Annabeth put down straightforwardly.
The guy stared down at his arm now. He smiled.
"Sure. You were my first crush. Percy Jackson here."
Percy Jackson? Oh, shit. This was the son of her mother's business rival. But who cares? He was her soulmate!
After a while, Luke walked up to Annabeth. Before he could say anything, she flipped him the Daddy Finger and said simply, "I found my soulmate" she motioned to Percy,"and I caught you cheating."
They walked away and now live happily. :)

Extremely predictable and cliche but I hope you enjoyed that!
