Something is definitely wrong. My daughter won't pick up the home phone. We always call each other on that phone. Has she seriously been gone two days in a row. Chad said she's been at his house but, I don't know. I don't like the idea of her spending the night with him. He's a boy! I'm worried sick about my baby girl. So worried that I decided to call the police saying we are out of town for a few weeks, and to see if they could check on out kid. When they got to the house no one was home. They reported back to me. That's when I called her cell phone again. No answer. That's it! Maybe I should cut this vacation short. But my husband is having a great time. Oh! I don't know what to do. Wait! I'll send the police over to Chad's house! Maybe she's still there. I just want them to check up on her. That's all. I want to know that my baby girl is safe!
When the police reported back to me about what they saw at Chad's house. I couldn't breathe. I'm on my way to the airport with my husband and we are going home. Why do bad things happen to good and sweet people? People like my daughter.
