Chapter Eighteen

Marcel smiles "awesome," he says, leaving out the 'thank you thank you thank you' he's shouting in his head.

When Marcel and Louis get to the lunch table the boys are gone except for Niall who's making a tower out of his chicken nuggets "where are Zayn and Li?" Louis asks and without even looking up from his nugget sculpture Niall points toward the long line of students waiting to get lunch, he nods and heads toward it even though he isn't all that hungry.

Marcel sits down across from Niall,in the same seating position they've sat in since they first met at the exact table.

"What'd he say?!" Niall asks enthusiastically "he said yes" Marcel says,smiling wide enough to make his cheeks sore "really?oh my gosh yes! See, I told you!" Niall brags "finailly someone listens to the Irish kid" he says and Marcel laughs "we listen to you, we just try to tune you out most of the time" Marcel says, resulting to a slap across the back of his head.

~Zayn walks to the table with his tray in his hands, he sets it down and rushes to Marcel, high-fiving him "Lou told me and damn i'm proud of you! I thought you were gonna make me ask him for you!"

Marcel laughs, why hadn't he thought of that?

~"awwwwwww" Liam says, his voice oddly going higher-pitched "shut up" Louis mumbles,his smile widens and his cheeks redden as they leave the line and to meet the other three.

"So, Liam who are you going to homecoming with?" Louis finailly asks, changing the subject from he and Marcel "I'm going with Niall," Liam says then pauses for dramatic effect, "but Niall's going with Zayn,and Zayn is going with me..but Zayn's paying," He explains making them all laugh, Niall almost spitting chocolate milk everywhere.
