Gratsu One-Shots

Seeing a Past I never knew I had

Natsu stared blankly. He saw a bruised up raven haired boy pouting at the camera. He was bandaged up and was crouched.

Natsu raised an eyebrow. "This is Gray when he was small, right?" He looked over to Erza, who sweat dropped.

"Yes, we had a ton of pictures in the basement, but when the guild was taken, we couldn't get them"

Natsu hummed, "I see, so... These bruises... We caused that? To each other?"

Erza chuckled, "Well, the face injuries were caused by me. You and Gray would always be in conflict since the typical 'Fire and Ice just don't mix' yet..."

Natsu's head tilted. "Yet?" Erza shook her head. "Nothing"

'Yet you two changed that..'

Three weeks passed since the incident, and Natsu has yet to recover from the amnesia. He has recalled most of his childhood and moments with previous missions but not all. He also hasn't been allowed to ho to his house since the doctor heard the story of how Natsu got his amnesia, he recommend that Natsu needs more time till he sees it all. And all that leads up to now.

Natsu sighed loudly, and Lucy stared pitifully. "Natsu, you haven't ate since yesterday. Eat"

Natsu groaned, "Don't wanna" Lucy rolled her eyes. "C'mon! You have to eat!"

"She's right you know. Unless you want to lose all your strength, I suggest you eat" Gray walked passed and commented.

Natsu turned to Gray and stared. Gray's eyebrow rose, "Natsu?"

Then a tear slipped from Natsu's face. "Natsu~..." A voice echoed in his head.

Gray and Lucy's eyes widened. "Natsu?" They asked grabbing him.

He then blinked. "Huh?" He looked down and saw the tear drop fall on his palm. He stated at the drop and his face scrunched up in confusion.

"I- uh... Need to go home" Natsu whispered, where Lucy grabbed his hand. "Natsu, your house is still a mess. Go to the apartment"

Natsu grit his teeth. "I hate that place! You guys told me my house has items that I treasure! Why can't I go back?!"

Erza walked over with her hands crossed, "We shouldn't rush your memories. The doctor said take it step by step. And that house will bring all at once, we need more time for you to remember who you are... Not to mention, who's yours..."

She turned to Gray, who dropped his face. Natsu snatched his hand from Lucy and walked away.

Erza shouted, "Natsu!" Natsu lit his fist and put it up. "Not now!"

She flinched at the anger and backed away slightly. Gray placed his hand on her shoulder.

"This is where I come in"

Natsu had gotten out of town due to the fact that he burned the side walk with each step.

He looked over to an old dried up river. A flash of two boys came to his head. "What-?"

"Yo! Fire breath!" Gray ran over, calling him an old insult, making Natsu immediately turn with a glare.

Gray chuckled, "I haven't seen that look in a while..." Natsu's face softened in slight shock.

"What do you want, Gray?" Natsu turned his head.

Gray frowned, "... I just felt this need to chase you" He turned to the dried up river and smiled.

"You remember this place?" He looked over to Natsu, who was shocked at the happiness in Gray's face.

Natsu shook his head, making Gray sigh. "Well this place is actually very important to us... When we were kids, me and you never really got along. When I first saw you, I thought, 'Look at this weirdo kid... He looks like me...' It irritated me that you had this same look I had... But unlike me, you kept a smile. I was jealous, so I fought you to be even. I wanted you to know that the pain I had watching you, was the same pain I gave you in our fights. And after all that, you still manage to smile... That beautiful smile that I fell in love with"

Gray looked up and Natsu, when Natsu finally understood what he said, his eyes widened. "Wha-!"

Gray stood up, "Natsu, I love you. Back then and now. Before you had amnesia it was mutual, but now... It looks one sided, and I can't take this pain of waiting for you... So I'm... Going to move on.."

Gray walked over to Natsu and placed a peck on his lips. Natsu was too busy gawking to back him away.

Gray let go and stared at Natsu painfully. "You're killing me..."
