So I told Natalie everything. From my family to what I eat and when will I drink blood something like that. I told her that I read her mind sometimes and then she got mad abit. Haha.

"Natalie, I gotta tell you one last thing" I said.

"ok"

"you know not just me being a vampire is the reason why I can't be with you, it is also that you see we vampires at the age of 18 we get to know our mates" I said.

"what is a mate? Like a soulmate?" she asked.

"yeah something like that. When we meet our mates they our the ones that were gonna get married to and live with forever" I said.

"so vampires?" she asked.

"yup. Usually vampires" I said.

I looked at her and I saw that she was a bit down on what I said. I raised her chin up so she could look in to my eyes.

Her eyes were pooling some tears.

"shhh babe don't cry" I said. I hugged her tight and kissed her head.

"your mate would be the luckiest person or vampire I should say" she said.

She cried silently at my chest. I know telling her that is the worst thing I could ever do.

"and babe when we met our mates we cannot live without them by our side. We get weak and down when they are far away from us especially when our mate is angry or not happy with our companionship with him or her" I explained.

She nodded her head. She just kissed me and pulled away from our hug.

"so I guess this relationship is just so hopeless" she said between sobs.

"don't say that babe. What if you're my mate" I said cheering her up a bit.

"well you don't know that and you said only vampires" she sadly said.

"I didn't said only vampires. I said usually vampires"

"so is there a chance of you finding a human mate?" she asked.

"yeah. 20% I guess"

"I guess I need to cherish every moment with you until you don't know your mate yet" she said.

"yeah we should cherish every moment that we are together" I added.

I leaned and kissed her with passion. 

My phone vibrated and I looked at the caller ID. It was mom.

"hello mom" I said.

"Justin you gotta go here now. We are about to leave" mom said.

"yeah sure mom. I'll be there" I said.

"and by the way son good thing you told Natalie the truth. I can feel that our secret is safe with her"

"yeah I feel too. I'll be there in 10 minutes" I said.

"ok bye"

I slid my phone back to my pocket.

"babe I gotta go now" I said.

"where are you going?" she asked.

"to Stratford"

"Stratford as in Stratford at Canada?" she asked.

"yeah"

"why?"

"vampire business"

"oh"

"I should take you home now it's getting late"
