Part 12 - Never Letting Go

*Your POV*

You grabbed the scissors that Maya gave you and cut the ropes that are binding your feet.

But suddenly, Nagaharu saw you cutting them. He gasped.

"No! (Y/n)-san!" he shouted and ran, but Maya grabbed his right leg and he stumbled.

Maya then grabbed the knife and then pointed it at Nagaharu.

"Don't go near (y/n)!" she said in a harsh tone. She looked at you later. "(Y/n), hurry! Before this fucking lunatic gets you!"

You nodded and ran as fast as you could. When you were finally outside Nagaharu's basement, you can hear the cries of your friend, Maya.

She was trying to protect you from Nagaharu. She is your hero.

You sobbed. You can't go back again, for Nagaharu is just too strong to handle. He is very skillful in using deadly weapons.

Later, you finally called a taxi to get home as quick as possible.

Luckily, you got the keys to your mansion's gate and to your room as well. You immediately placed your things on a shelf beside the main door.

"Good evening, Ma'am (y/n)," one of your maids greeted you. "In case you need to change your clothes, I placed some on your bed. I also cleaned your room recently."

"Thank you," you said, trying to hide your tears. "P-please... place my bag in front of my bedroom's door. I have a backache..."

"Yes, Ma'am (y/n)."

Your maid then helped you carry your things to your room. After she helped you and went away, you went inside your room and closed the door. You didn't bother to turn the lights on... and you shed tears thinking about what Nagaharu did to you.

*Next day*

*Nagaharu's POV*

Who says I will quit following (y/n)-san? Your mind?

Heh! Don't be so sure!

I was waiting for her at the school corridor. While waiting, I picked up my smartphone and started to look at (y/n)-san's beautiful pictures.

Then, I heard footsteps. I lifted my head up high and saw (y/n)-san walking.

But hey... why does she look very sad today?

I went near her and approached her.

"(Y/n)-san, you came!" I happily said and hugged her.

But she vigorously pushed me away.

"GET OFF ME!" she yelled. "I DON'T WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN! EVER!!"

Gasp! No... it's not true... is it? Tell me it's not true!

"No... (y/n)-san...!" I softly cried. "That's a lie... right?"

(Y/n)-san quickly shook her head.

"I'm definitely NOT lying, Naga-kun! I've had enough of you!"

"B-but... what about me!? What about how I feel for you!? I see you as Miko-chan...!"

"You're going crazy! Get your ass off of me now and leave me alone!!"

(Y/n)-san then pushed me again and went away. My heart started to crash into pieces. I can't believe I got heartbroken... for a second time!

I crouched my head down as I went inside our classroom. I sat on my proper seat as always.

I can't feel anything before.

But suddenly, warm tears began to fall down from my sad eyes.

I sobbed softly as well.
