The date

Adam knocks on Lena's door while Lena was at dance class

Lenas dad: Lenas not here

Adam: I actually came to talk to you

Lenas dad looks shocked : come in

Adam: I know that I've done some pretty messed up things in my past but I'm changing and I would like to take Lena on a date

Lenas dad: no

Adam: sir, I like your daughter and isn't you who always preaches about second chances I'm just asking for a chance here

Lenas dad: fine but it's up to her.

Adam : thank you sir

(Lena leaves class and is walking home Courtney and Brittney see her and they get out of there car )

Courtney; oh my god Lena look at you you look like trash

Britney and Courtney laughing

Courtney touches Lenas hair and starts to grab it when Lena pushes her to the ground

Brittney: oh hell no

They grab her bag

Lena: oh your gonna regret this

Lena pepper sprays them : stupid bitches and then grabs her bag and leaves as their screaming apparently someone recorded it and it was trending all over school the next day

Al: yo yo Adam watch this

Adam: is that Lena

Al: yeah dude she pepper sprayed them talk about fucked up everyone's laughing as Courtney and Brittney walk in with red circles around there eyes

*Lena was at her locker *

Adam puts his hand on her locker and looks at her as she has headphones in
Lena looks up and takes her headphones out

Adam: hey did you get any of my texts

Lena: look Adam I just don't think it's a good idea

Adam: your dad said it was okay

Lena: you talked to my dad

Adam: yeah

Lena: still I think we should just stay friends

Adam: what if I can't just be friends with you

(Lena looks at him : Adam I can't I'm sorry.
The bell rings everyone heads to class

During lunch Adam waited by Lenas car as she walked to her car and saw him

Lena:  Adam what are you doing

Adam: I know everyday during lunch you leave

Lena: can you move please

Adam: what are you so afraid of it's one date

Lena: why is it so important huh? Why did you even kiss me in that play?

Adam at this point realized he likes her there was one problem he made a bet he knew he could never come clean about that

Adam: because I like you

Lena: yeah right

Adam: oh come on what's the worst that could happen it's just one date

(Lena gets in the car and drives away )

She goes to the hospital to check in with her friend Leah who she met when she did her first chemo their they have lunch together*

Lena comes out of the hospital and is crying Adam had followed her. Adam gets out of the car

Adam : Lena are you okay

Lena: oh my god did you follow me here?

Adam: I was worried about you I know somethings wrong talk to me

Lena and Adam sit on the bench and he puts his jacket around her and he sees her shaking

Lena: oh you don't have too

Adam; it's the least I can do

Lena: thank you

Adam: your welcome

Lena: it's just my friend I come here everyday for lunch she's sick.

Adam: is she gonna be okay

Lena: she has cancer but the doctors are doin everything they can

Adam comforts her

Lena: are you hungry

Adam: yeah

Lena: how about that date?

Adam smiles and they go out for fries and milkshakes Lena gets a strawberry milkshake and Adam gets chocolate

Adam: why didn't you tell me you could kick girls asses with pepper spray

Lena: oh my god you saw that

Adam: the whole school did

Lena: my dads gonna kill me

Adam: I'm sure they deserved it

Lena: maybe but no one deserves to be humiliated I know what that feels like

Adam: what do you mean

Lena : those girls have been mean to me since we started high school plus they made this stupid flyer but I don't really care

Adam: you don't care what people think of you

Lena: Teenage girls are judgmental but their words shouldn't dictate how you see yourself. People are brutal. It's up to you to ignore the hate not become it

Adam: wow your something else

Lena: is that a good or bad thing

Adam. Definitely good

They finish their milkshakes

Adam; come on I have one more place we have to go to

He takes her skating

* Lena smiles*
This is on my bucket list how did you remember

Adam: I don't forget important things

*Lena smiles as they hold hands to skate *

Adam takes a picture of her skating with his phone once she gets used to it an hour later they leave.

They are in the car

Lena: thank you for tonight I had fun

Adam : me too

Lena looks at him as he leans in to kiss her,

Lena : goodnight she runs out the car and goes into the house

Lenas dad: how was your date

Lena: it was fine

Cater: does he know yet

Lena: no and he's not going to I'm not gonna see him again.  She runs upstairs and takes a bath.
