Part 1:
I was sleeping on my bed. Suddenly, I feel something pushing me to wake up, but I just kept shrugging it off. It was now pushing more than needed.
" Go away." I mumbled sleepily
" WAKE UP ALREADY DANIELLE!!" yelled the familiar voice
I opened my eyes slowly and squinted my eyes trying to adjust to the bright light. "Fine, I'm up already. I'm up." I mumbled. "Why do I need to wake up so early anyway?" I asked
" We need to get ready for school silly." Julie said
"I'm not going." I said plainly with no emotion in my voice
"What? Why?"
"Do I really need to say why? You already know about it." I said as I was getting back in my bed pulling the covers on me. Then I was yanked by my arm of my bed. "Julie, what are you doing?"
"Taking you to the bathroom to get ready." she said while dragging me along. UNWILLINGLY on my part should I add.
"But I said I wasn't going." I said exasperated "After that humiliation, I'm not going for a couple of days to school."
"The MORE reasons you have to go to school." she said once outside the bathroom
.Suddenly I stopped and looked at her like if she was delutional. "Huh?!?" I said
"COME ON!!" she said and pushed me into the bathroom
Sighing defeatedly I just did as I was told. After taking a shower, I looked at the sink and saw the clothes Julie picked a black embroidered crop top, light grey shorts, a belt that is mostly brown and some sandals that I'll just put on later. I walked out and wanted for Julie to explain why is she so comitted in me going to school. Well, I'm going to find out now.
"Julie, seriously why do you want me to go to school so badly? I could have just stayed in bed after what happened yesterday." I asked accusingly
"But you have to show people you weren't affected by it and for that you HAVE to go to school." Julie reasoned to me
"Fine. Let's go to school" I said. Julie and I grabbed a granola bar and ate it. Just as we were getting to my car, I felt something weird at the pit of my stomach and stopped. "Wait, aren't we forgetting something....OH MY GOD!!"
"ALEX" Julie and me yelled at the same time
We rushed back inside the house and went to my brother's room. There layed Alex fast asleep on the bed with drool marks on the side of his face. Then an idea dawned on me. Slowly I walked to the bed, took my phone out and just as I was about to take a picture for future... how should I say it..ummm... "use" or should I just say blackmail. Julie startled me and I almost dropped my phone. I was so focused on being careful cause Alex is a light sleeper that I forgot Julie was with me for a second.
"What are you doing?" Julie asked
"What?" I asked startled. "Ohh, I was just going to take a picture for... memories." I whispered now remembering about Alex being a light sleeper " And maybe future use" I mumbled to myself the last part but maybe Julie heard it
"Uhh huh. Sure.... Just hurry up so we can wake him to go to school." Julie said not believing what I said about the picture. Well she is my best friend.
I quickly snapped the picture and started waking him up. "Alex, wake up. We have to go to school."
"Five more minutes mom" he mumbled and as if he remembered were he was he woke up "Oh yeah I'm at your house. Well I'm up now" he said
After Alex got ready, we got to school with plenty of time to spare. I was actually a bit nervous when I started to get out of the car. Thinking about yesterday, but I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as I walked fearlessly -well at least on the outside since I was freaking out on the inside- into the school. I heard mumbles relating yesterday, but ignored it. I did my best to ignore everything, but some comments sent a little pang of hurt to my heart. I was succeding that was until Melissa aka the queen bee aka the b*tch -well for me at least- found her way to me. Just great!-note the sarcasm- Oh, how much I hate her! She was actually nice before but I guess being popular got to her. Once she tried to make me join her clique, but I refused and since then we hate each other.
*WARNING: BAD LANGUAGE*
"Danielle, you shouldn't cry cause you'll look ugly! Oh wait, it's too late cause you already are!" Melissa practically shouted making everyone laugh
"Melissa, just f*ck off! No one called you here." I said with anger starting to boil inside me
"Aww! Are you gonna cry now?"
"No you stupid sl*t!"
"No one calls me that!"
"Too late because I already did!" Wow, I've never stood up to her this much!
"Then, you are a hideous b*tch!"
"Leave me alone!"
"So you are admiting you are a b*tch?!"
"Those words never came through my mouth!"
"They sure came through your ears! Why don't you just leave?!"
"Leave-me-alone!" I screamed
"Aww...You're gonna cry now? You little wimp!"
***DRIING!!***
Just as I was about to leave, the bell rings. Wow, I was really saved by the bell. I walked to my first class and just tried to ignore the stares and murmurs. The rumors and such will die down by like a week or so.... I hope. I'm going to ignore everyone and try to avoid Dylan and Melissa as much as I can right now.
The first class passed with no problems except for the stares and murmurs, but for the second class I couldn't say the same. I went to sit on my chair next to Julie as I normally would. The teacher was about to start class when the door burst open and in comes Dylan. He walked in like he pretty much owned the school. He is such an a*s and to think he just got to this school a few weeks ago.
"Dylan! Detention for coming late and sit down!" the teacher yelled
"Whatever." Dylan said shrugging without a care in the world
"Now class, there is going to be a partner project-"the teacher said but was cut midsentence by groans and complaints of students "class" he said menacengly "Also, I am going to asign your partners." he said and the students groaned and complained even more
Naming the groups I spaced of until I heard my name "Dylan Montgomery, you will be paired with Danielle Anderson" I was shocked. Could this day get any worse?!
"Wait! What? No!" I yelled as I stood up
